FYI- in case anyone watches the USA network, we had rented out the 06 Spyder for a shooting of Burn Notice that's shot down here in South Florida. Turns out it was on a few quick shots right in the beginning, but hey...we made some money from it. It was just sitting, no one sat in or drove it (we keep the keys). The orange 04 Murci will be shown in the next few weeks on an episode, not sure which one just yet. The show aired tonight at 9pm and then again tonight at 12 midnight (EST), plus will likely be on their web site tomorrow. Anyway, kind of exciting to see ones cars on TV...lol.

I was there in April with my family for spring break. Nicks a class act for sure & the cars were awesome. It's bad to see it go, it was the nicest show room I've seem bar none. I have some pics I'll try to post later. -
Lamborghini morning drive in Japan (by Dolce club)

Nice cars & nice vid. I don't care for the graphics on the cars, but looks like a great time to me. I was in Japan, China & Hong Kong last year. Saw lots of lambos in HK. Japan was great!!! -
I fully understand wanting them both. They are polar opposites. After driving the Viper or Lambos for a week or so then changing to the other, it is make it all the more enjoyable

Agreed, the wing is really stupid, but the rest is pretty much OK.

Love it...a real work of art!!!! -
Actually I had read somewhere it was not the same as the coupe. As it turns out, I followed your directions & found it with no problems. I'll test it tomorrow...THX! PS, car was built in June of 06, any idea if this mod might trigger a check engine light?

Does anyone know where this solenoid/electrical connector is on an 06 Spyder, can it be reached with the engine cover up? Did a search but nothing to indicate location

I'll be on a list soon too. I don't have to be the first to get, so long as I get one. I drove the current R8 a few weeks ago, only thing it lacked was power.

Were the dyno pulls done on an awd dyno? I see you show hp as awhp, but want to be sure. Thx!

I've had 3 Vipers. A 97 GTS (Blue/White stripes), 2003 SRT-10 (Red Conv't) & and present a 2006 SRT-10 coupe (Blue/White stripes). The Viper is without a doubt, an entry level exotic. You can go for days, maybe weeks & not see one (depending where you live). When I bought my 1998 C5, it was nice & didn't see too many. About 10 months later, I was at an intersection & there were seven C5's including me . At that point I wanted something rarely seen & decided to sell the C5 & get the 97 GTS. At the moment, I have the 2006 Viper, 2005 FGT & the 2004 Murci. The FGT & Murci are precision machines & feel like it. The Viper is the "polar opposite" & I love the contrast. It's like driving an old school 66 big block Ve++e. A good comparison is the Viper is like the "old style" wooden roller coaster (rough ride!) VS the "new style" high tech roller coasters. The Lambo's & FGT's have their place, but the Viper has it's too. Not to mention the fact, that with the addition of a DLM supercharger, the 500HP motor is capable of close to 750HP. My only advice, is try to get the 2002 GTS, it's the first year they offered ABS. I've had a few close calls with the 97 GTS & ABS would have helped. The other guys are right, the Porsche & Ve++es are great, but if you've seen one, you've seen them all. You want something different (entry level exotic) get the Viper .

I agree. Now with its success & knowledge gained, we may be on the verge of understanding the next levels of physic allowing for development of technologies allowing inter-stellar travel to become a reality. There are theories on worm holes, folding & warping space that may one day become fact as a result of these experiments.
