Tony Ierardi Report post Posted November 5, 2007 Do they use the same bolt pattern? If so, I might follow your reasoning when I get around to removing my wing. Depends where the holes were drilled. A 5000S should have the later style that you have. The right mirror style for the right year is what we were going for. I don't know if a Sebring would look right on a later car. ralfabco Report post Posted November 5, 2007 Ralph, I think it was an option for power mirrors. The Sebring are not power....the Flag style is. This would make sense why when Dan Hanna owned my car he had 2 aftermaket power mirrirs put on. I think the one Sebring my car left the factory with was a non power mirror. At some point in the past, the car was updated with a factory original QV style interior (door panels and dash), and was ordered in a different color. The factory provided either the hides, and or did all of the work. My feeling, is that with this being the case, it is better to have the factory updated original interior (hides), vs an aftermarket interior in the original colors. It can be debated either way. It comes down to, if you want original factory hides, or a new aftermarket interior with the correct colors. The dash is another story. I will have to put aftermarket period correct mousehair. Mirrors ? I will check into the bolt pattern. I did mention in the previous post, that most likely the car was built by the factory with the flag mirrors. It had QV mirrors on the car. Perhaps the factory, updated the QV style mirrors ? I do like the Sebring (pod) exterior mirrors. Either way, it is no big thing with me.
