nice set up,

please post them! :)

I'll put up pictures next week sometime when Jethot send them back.

Regarding the throttle bodies:

We was able to bore them out to the following:

Bore 1: Stock 39mm - Modified 42mm

Bore 2: Stock 54mm - Modified 57mm

That's about as safe an increase as i felt comfortable with. I'll finish re-flowing them later this week and post up a report.

Something for the cross ref. parts list.

Was removing the oil filter housing today & snap, broke the bloody oil pressure sender in the housing.

Lamborghini part # 001530303 $170.07

VDO Part # exact replacement $25.75

I'll have lots of interesting pictures uploaded Monday, esp curious about the A/C system, looks like it's an easy fit to add an additional A/C condenser to the other radiator, i will investigate this more next week. Hopefully it will work a direct bolt in which i think it will and allow much greater cooling efficiency here in the awful Florida heat & Humidity next summer.

Throttle body specs, before and after enlarging both ports.

That's a 20% CFM gain!

Wished I had your skill Limey. If you have plans for a holiday in Bali, do let me know. I can arrange for transport there and I'll get airline tickets and accomodation for you & your family to fly to Jakarta. Perhaps you can teach me and my mechanic how to work on these cars. :icon_mrgreen: :icon_thumleft:

Limey,

Any concerns about running headers in these cars with out the insulating shields that are normally around them?

Hotter engine compartment, burning leaves and other debris?

I think it's the panel right behind and above the rear bumper.

It is, but is the one for the GT, no bumper slots :-)

None at all, i had these on the car for 18 months before i took the car out of commision for the overhaul. I never had them coated before, bare stainless as they came from the factory, decided it was better to coat them for looks and to also insulate them.

Check out the flywheel ring gear, this entire flywheel was machined from aluminium, even the ring gear and after 5000 miles of driving and many a good launch, the ring gear is as perfect as the day it was installed.

The suspension parts will be removed once the items listed above are finished and collected from the powder coaters. I don't like doing too many different tasks at once, that way i can be sure to do things correct.

The Ring Gear should as it would have nothing to do with launches , correct? I believe it is used solely for the starter.
