abolfaz Report post Posted May 9, 2009 This man found an aluminum light pole on the ground, picked it up with the help of a friend then mounted it on top of his truck. He then drove the truck down the street from me to sell the light pole to a recycling company, luckily they called the cops. It took six men and a crane to unload the light pole in order to be able to tow away the truck. IMO he shouldn't have been arrested but instead given a medal for being able to load that damn light pole and drive it across town! BTW, while the police were arresting this guy, his friend shows up a few minutes later pushing a shopping cart that is full of manhole covers stamped with the words "MIAMI DADE COUNTY". When the cops spotted him attempting to sell the steel manhole covers to the same recycling company, he claimed that he had found them and HAD NOT STOLEN THEM FROM THE COUNTYS MANHOLES!
