dreamcast18 Report post Posted September 2, 2011 ah, you have specific games in mind. in that case, you need one that allows for adding of games (usually PC based or PS3/XBOX based). friend of mine has a couple of arcade cabinets in his man cave...one of them broke and he never got it repaired after numerous service calls. most of them just sat there after a day or two of use. we also picked up a used on from a local arcade machine dealer...some you can get pennies on the dollar. Dragon's Lair will be tougher to get on most machines. here's one that has it as an add on: http://www.gamecabinetsinc.com/Merchant2/m...ory_Code=arcade alternatively, just get one of these boxes and put in a PS3 to play any classic games off PSN: http://www.bespoke-arcades.co.uk/arcade-ma...-arcade-cabinet None of them seem to have games like the Donkey KOngs... donnie Report post Posted September 2, 2011 Buy a good MAME arcade - I got a couple of the LEGENDS multi-cades - they are good but you ALWAYS want something it doesnt have - so the mame will let you install what you want. Some are great -with loads of lights and look better than the "brand" multicades.

This one in particular: http://www.dreamarcades.com/vision29.shtml Have read a lot of good reviews about their products, looking forward to getting one. Lamborghinikid Report post Posted September 3, 2011 There is a huge gaming auction company called super auctions. There web site is www.superauctions.com . They go all over the US and have TONS of stuff . The last Atlanta auction i went to i picked up a Galaga , Killer Instinct 2 , and a bowling game. You also meet a lot of local people in your area that can fix them, have reproduction stiker and decal kits so you can restore your games ETC. Its THE gaming auction company . TheFilipinoStig Report post Posted September 3, 2011 I would also like to get all the old Nintendo and Super Nintendo games available to be played on my TV, with similar controllers. I know you can do something with having them all ported over to a PC, then hook that up to a monitor - like a TV or a standup old school arcade. All the old games bring back instant memories of child hood - more than almost anything.
Lamborghinikid Report post Posted September 3, 2011 Perfect I will look them up... I found a POPEYE game for 400 bucks local to me. That is a tough game to find and the key thing is shipping so its a MUST to find games you like local. That is why i like the Super Acutions so much. All games are plugged up and can be played up until the auction starts. Then you know what your getting. Play it , Buy it , load it up and take it home. NO SHIPPING ! I have a guys number somewhere that has a library of reproduction decals that i met here in Atlanta. He was reasonable on prices and they looked good. I think the full kit of Galaga that i bought was around $125. Simi gloss or flat black the cabinet and put his decals on and your game will look BRAND NEW ! Lamborghinikid Report post Posted September 3, 2011 Yes Dig Dug, and also VS EXCITEBIKE! When i got my nintendo back in the day we used to have spend the night Excitebike tournaments . We played all day and night. What a simple but flat out awesome game ! I remember taking my crappy duck hunt game that came with my system back to wal mart and swaping it for a good game. Those were the good days when wal mart would take anything back without a reciept ! LOL
