just wanted to share with you guys

probably the sharpest handling car i've driven, but the clutch is damn HARD. i don't understand why my Lambo, FGT, Lotus are quite soft and this thing is like an old school exotic with a stiff clutch.

 

good car nonetheless. my first non aircooled porsche sportscar.

Very nice. Will you track it? I took my C2S to the track - tons of fun - but the highligt was a ride in a very sweet RS 3.8. Do you know if the only difference is the engine - or are there suspension changes as well?

Slight chances to suspension too. Sharper handling.

Love the 4.0, was happy to see them greenlight it as a final send-off gift to the extremely loyal 997GT2/3 customer base.

 

For whatever reason it has tested slower than the HP/weight would suggest, maybe it's that beastly clutch you mentioned giving soft-shoed journos leg cramps versus the computer efficiency of PDK+LC.

 

Regardless, it's a fantastic final entry for the non-turbo line and the world is a better place with it in it. :icon_thumleft:

Beautiful. Decals tastefully done (some of the 3.8 RS decals are a bit much IMO)

 

That 4.0 makes a great sound!

 

Wondering why (at 1:33) he has his flashers going on track?

They appear to be alternating sides. Are those flashers or does

it double as a police cruiser?

it's just the camera and it's recording frequency that makes the lights look like they flash.
