RaginBull Report post Posted January 23, 2013 You have good taste. I was looking at them last week on dupont regs. Very tempting. One of the best looking cars I have ever seen.

If you are ever tempted to pull the trigger, even on a regular SLR, make sure the required service is done. It goes by time elapsed since car is on the road and i can tell you, B service is super expensive, almost 20k .

There are 2 other cars I want to get first. So, it might be a while. Unless a great deal comes up.
Robster Craws Report post Posted January 23, 2013 This one has been for sale for a while at $375 http://www.drivingemotions.com/INVENTORY/V...CVe1pGPe0.email
Rouleur Report post Posted January 23, 2013 I think someone had one too many cocktails. You can buy a regular 06 coupe in the low 200k range retail, I don't see the 150k swing. That car at Driving Emotions has been there for a while. Maybe time to run it through the chute.
Tara Report post Posted January 23, 2013 Nice find Rob. How uncomfortable do these ride? Is the 722 more harsh?
LPDADDY Report post Posted January 24, 2013 Nice find Rob. How uncomfortable do these ride? Is the 722 more harsh? 722 is very stiff, you feel every bump on the road, not very good for long distance drives, it kills the kidneys
LamboNutter Report post Posted January 24, 2013 dont like em enough to ever buy one. too compromised. great GT car. although must say, one of the best sounding v8 cars in the world. sounds like a Spitfire at full chat !! the one and only to get is: the Stirling Moss !!! I could have bought one but passed. As much as i like it, it is a useless car in N/A and i am not so sure it would be practical anywhere else. If i want to drive around with a helmet, might as well be on track.
emanon Report post Posted January 24, 2013 I'll take the black/black SLR Vert on the right, you guys can keep that other trinket. If you want to drive around in a go-cart with a helmet on, buy an Arial Atom for 1/10 the cost and it's probably more fun on a daily basis anyway. LamboNutter Report post Posted January 24, 2013 we are all lambo lovers ... and you guys go on about practicality and commonsense ?! kinda ironic! so i will simply say ... HAVE U LOOKED AT IT? All the others look like pimped Merc SL , while the back suspension looks like its way too high. emanon Report post Posted January 24, 2013 we are all lambo lovers ... and you guys go on about practicality and commonsense ?! kinda ironic! There is impractical, then there is driving a car without a bloody windshield. Stick your head out the window at 60mph and let me know how the watery eyes feel. I love purposely impractical vehicles, but at some point they become more hassle than they are worth and it's a killjoy. The SLR Vert at least has a roof in case it rains, or gets too hot (SoCal problem), Plus you don't get pelted with road pebbles and flies in your teeth. If i'm going THAT far off the end, just give me a damn racecar and cut the b/s.
JasonLambo Report post Posted January 24, 2013 The Sterling isn't a daily driver or tourer, you can't really judge it by practicality. It's something special.

TheFilipinoStig Report post Posted January 24, 2013 The SLR just sounds mean - Nothing quite like it. I've yet to see a 722 in person but I love how they look.

Chipster Report post Posted January 24, 2013 Love these. I watched the BJ auction but missed the 722. Was cool watching the gullwing though and they were from the same collection.
