  1. I think it's an incredible example of function from McLaren, with some McLaren styling. Personally there are McLaren cars that a big hit for me looks wise. Example, love the 600LT and 720S, but dislike the Boattail or the MP4-12C. The Senna, is a mixed bag. I like things about it very much so, like the windows in the lower portion of the doors. But for me the sum of the parts isn't my palette. Incredible performer though, can't deny that!
  2. So the Petersen Automotive Museum is pulling together some incredible content for a virtual Monterey Car Week. There are going to be some incredible virtual events to see and live with, while we can't be out doing Car Week in the flesh. It's all on their YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7l9_nNV7JWaSnNMqNjTEAQ First Day First Video to get started: Side note, the Donut Media collaboration is a bit unprofessional (in look and feel, but I'll be interested to see how it plays out).
  3. This is a interesting first, (that I have seen). In short, Automobile Magazine was tapped by McLaren to "build" a Senna for its press car fleet. Automobile didn't pay for the car, but they did get to go through the building process of choosing options (with guidance and "help" from McLaren) the options. It's an interesting read if you didn't get your Senna. The drive reports thus far aren't wholly objective, but I'm guessing that comes with the "understanding" of being able to use a 1.1MM car and "build to spec" without spending any money. 4. Oh my gosh yes...that looks awesome! Congratulations! I love those cars, stealth for a daily is the best!
  5. Congratulations, i love stories like these! It went from a great home to an amazing home and will definitely be loved (and driven)!
  6. I think you're spot on. Could be some new tech they are getting miles on to QC before going into production.
  7. They are cheering the bankruptcy of Remington, but I heard they are making shit products for years; so many weren't surprised.
  8. Mazel's and congrats. That's an awesome one. Post more pics when you can. I hear those kids up in WA are a handful to deal with
  9. No worries, i figured as much. Looking forward to it!
  10. That car suits you. Awesome spec, post some more pictures. I've been jonesing for more since your reveal video from the dealer!
  11. If you can bring it home...that's awesome. Because someone is going to put their Aventador plate on it and take it to a C&C event!
  12. Interesting. At 4:24 if you freeze it just right, it looks almost like it has slated grills on the front quarter panel. And in combination with the concave hood makes me think some Squadra Corsa edition or something motorsport related. I wonder if the front hood provides cooling to the brakes? Otherwise it could be some fancy active-aero piece to give the front more downforce? Interesting and good spots Docta! Thanks for sharing!
  13. Apologies for not getting to this one. Has it been resolved? Were you able to figure it out?
  14. Did they derive the estimate value based on it being a 91 and not considering the GT enhancements? I can understand the mum discussion, but its interesting to hear how things get to where the get. If that makes sense.
  15. I wouldn't have believed me, but at the same point I'm not surprised. Lamborghini has churned out more than 10,000 Urus' since its production began. Holy smokes! Good for them, hopefully the money goes back into the company and not just the VW coffers for diesel gate. Check out the photos and press release below.
  16. Assuming you didn't buy it through a dealer? I'd reach out and see if your "local" dealer can get you in touch with the regional rep. to connect you. I will dig through some of my contacts and see if any line up with what you need. Congrats on the purchase, make sure to post some pictures!
  17. What's the reserve you were going for? Or is that not polite to ask? I don't have a filter like that.
  18. Among the things we've lost amongst the COVID nonsense would be Monterey Car Week and a host of other car shows and events. In comes the best virtual car concours yet! Check this out, some awesome stuff and great execution! I'm linking directly to the classes to view the cars and some results, enjoy! It's a good way to see some incredible cars from the comfort of your own home or office! https://concoursvirtual.com/concours-classes/
  19. I'll agree, he is better than this. And perhaps it was an assigned article or task, but it seems to be a slow decline to where we are at. Again, not many objective reviews remain out there (in my opinion).
