I agree, both my lp640's stock have had the front touch when driving on normal roads. It is a horrible feeling as you know it is going to happen a split second before it touches, you feel the car enter a dip in the road and wait for the inevitable loud scrape noise and are left with the decision whether to stop and look ar keep going. I normally keep going and take a peek when no one is looking. Russell

Is this car stick or e-gear, if e-gear how would one do what is shown in the vid? Only way I can assume is to pull both paddles for neutral rev car then very quickly pull right paddle for first gear, if 3 pedal car no problem. Russell

I am sure trains are pretty economical but think the main reasons for diesel/electric is that an electric motor can produce large amounts of torque at a low RPM and needs no clutch to operate, a clutch that could could transfer the amount of power a train needs would be huge and with all the slow speed shunting etc would wear faster than an early gen e gear g car. If you go the epoxy route make sure you put plastic chips or silica sand in it, just plain epoxy looks good but turns into a skating rink when wet. I made this mistake a few years ago. Russell

People assume that a fused wire is safe. I have seen many inline fuses put so far away from the power supply that any short in the unprotected length prior to the fuse would cause a problem. If you install an amp in the hood and run a line from the battery the fuse should be very close to the battery not the amp if not you will have about 8 ft of unprotected wire. Russell

My old yellow lp640 was in having a new fuel tank fitted due to a leak when it got totaled. They have to drop one side of the rear suspension to get to the tank so it will need to be aligned. Russell

its not an air brake, it opens when you reach about 80 mph and closes when you get to about 60 mph Russell
