That and he hit high boost in 2nd instead of 3rd like he usually does, so he spun hard. Remember that he only has low and high boost, he doesn't have boost by gear. So on low boost, he's only making 1000rwhp. Not an excuse, just informing those that may not know. I'm with you, Allan...Eddie's car commands respect considering what it is and what he was racing. What he's able to do with that car is impressive, imo. True. Looking forward to seeing what he does down at the TX event from a roll where traction doesn't limit him as much.

Then why was the 918 Spyder not able to reach 300kph on the second, longer straight after it did on the shorter back straight?

I think he also wanted credit for the blue meth, so people would remember him for how good it was. I thought it was a great ending, all the lose ends were tied up and he died happily.

Unless it was tuned for that specific octane, you will not see a difference. If it was tuned for race fuel, you shouldn't run anything other than that in it, as you run the chance of hurting the engine.

Awesome work, Hovik. I was trying to get a picture of you hanging out of the car taking pictures but I couldn't get the iPhone camera to focus through the windshield with the wiper going. All of the pictures are great but #13 is my favorite.

A turbo does that to the exhaust sound, you can't really compare a turbo car to a NA one when it comes to sound.

Yeah, on that particular run, the GT-R didn't use launch control. They tried a few other times and that partciluar GT-R got him. I have to admit though, there's something awesome about seeing a Lambo smoke all four tires as it launches and pretty much keeps up with most of the modded GT-Rs.

Hasn't there been a dyno posted by UGR showing 1900+rwhp on a Gallardo setup for the Mile?
