  1. I had a simular problem with a Phillips. The TV repair man said it would be too expensive and suggested just buying a new TV. I searched the internet using "no picture, Phillips plasma" and the TV model #. I found an electrical guru forum that identified the problem as most likely being a $2.00 capasitor. I had never worked with electronics or soldering irons before but for about $20 (capasitor and iron), I thought it would be worth a shot. It was easier than I expected and it only took me about an hour. Most of the time was spent taking appart and reassembling the TV. The 50" Phillips has worked perfectly since I did the repair 3 years ago.
  2. Looks like this car owned by a guy named Amgad. www.adamcarolla.com/CarCastBlog/2009/12/03/1984-lamborghini-countach-s/
  3. Hey Donnie. I did try to reply with a source but the administration program changed my post so it would only say to "use the Lambo Power vendor sites", afterwhich you probably would have posted a simular reply. I could not delete my post so I simply edited my post and suggested a Google search. My intention was to give a source, but I understand the administration wanting users of this site to only use Lambo Power vendors.
  4. Have you tried a Google search?
  5. With so many pictures and stories, the bodygaurd should consider working a publisher to write his account of MJ. I think it would make a few dollars.
  6. I am a quiet participant on this website, but I do know sailing. The best thing to do is buy a book on how to sail so you can understand the basic mechanics. Next, find a local sailing club at a marina. For the most part, they all have "learn to sail" programs to help promote their club. They want people to learn to sail so they will become a member, buy a boat, and rent a slip. Sailing is a great lifestyle with wonderful people.
  7. Listen to the host while she is driving. She talks about the 5.2 litre "V8".
  8. I don't have a wiring diagram of the Diablo but it is not uncommon to have the tach connected to the negative terminal on one of the coils. I would try to swap the coils first and then try to swap the computers. The Diablo tachs are made by VDO and they are designed to pull a signal from either the alternator or one of the coils.

I got my application in the mail today and thought the same thing.
  10. The body work might become a bigger nightmare. I would like to know why the hood was altered, why the grill was added, and where the badging went? Even the holes for all of the badges are gone. Either an owner wanted to customize the body for a smoother look or this was in an accident and had extensive repair.
  11. I do not think Chrysler had much input on the Diablo other than overseeing the project. Marcello Gandini was commissioned for the design like he did with the Miura under Bertone. Perhaps Chrysler was responsible for the interior. That would explain the large guage pod in the early Diablos. But to answer the question about being German engineered, I think 2002 would be correct because of the 6.0 ending after 2001. After that, it was Gallardos and Murcis.
  12. Why were the volt and oil gauges installed on the far right side of the dash?
  13. I remember recording that on a VHS tape in 1985 and watching that video over and over just for the CT. The video and song are now lame by todays standards.
