  1. 1. They send the money (best via wire transfer) 2. You send them the title and ship it. Reputable shippers will have necessary insurance.
  2. Probably. I think there's a time limit. Sometimes dealers and manufacturers allow celebrities to drive cars to help create buzz or promote the brand. In this case, I don't think Tyga is doing Lambo any favors. drmac: Awesome choice in color combo!!!
  3. I think you're reaching but it doesn't matter. Your car is unique and an amazing build.
  4. You may have driven both but you're way off on pricing. Unless you ordered it years in advance, you won't get an F12 for less than $100k over msrp for some time. I've also yet to see any Aventador used, let alone new, sell as cheap as $387k. That said, I would also take the Lambo. And I personally like the way the mule sits.
  5. Not much of a review. Those cameras did nothing to capture the sound. Still, he seemed to enjoy it, as evidenced by the grin on his face. As for scraping the bumper: We've all done that in our sports cars whether we want to admit it or not.
  6. If this really is in the works, I'm sure our own RaginBull has it ordered so we may experience it vicariously through him.
  7. Wow. Well, I guess the next owner can repaint it without any guilt. I'm sure a douchebag dealer will attempt to sell at a premium with "Custom Paint, Celebrity Owned!!"
  8. At least the Aventador is a wrap. A shitty one, but it is easily reversilble. The Gallardo OTOH needs to be put out of its misery.
  9. Here's another view. Forget the skin color and lets address the simple aspect of appearance. If this kid was walking through the neighborhood in a school uniform, suit and tie, or even simply a normal fitting shirt and jeans, he would not have been "profiled". When you see cctv of crimes at, say, banks, convenience stores, etc. the perpetrators are typically dressed in a manner that conceals their appearance and, whether anyone will admit it or not, a large proportion of these crimes are committed by people dressed in the same manner this young man was. Does profiling a style of dress make one a racist? If I see someone near my place of business or home they are, I'm not looking at their skin color but rather their overall profile which factors in their movements and style of clothes. As a "minority", I can count on one hand the number of times I've been "profiled" and, guess what: I was dressed like shit every time. I believe race has little to do with profiling so much as the prejudice against the style of dress. Now, am I condoning the fact that profiling a style of dress is right? No. However, I believe that this is the more important factor. Race is not the issue.
  10. I wouldn't do it to mine, but I think it looks good.
  11. And the ignorant will blame the white race for a Peruvian-American defending himself. I know I shouldn't be but I'm still astounded at the ignorance of the masses and the ability of the media to manipulate them.
  12. I'm sure you know by now there is no "lack of sound" with the TT Gallardos. The other two are well compensated with the larger displacement V10. How is your car coming along?
  13. I LOVE the Burmester in my Panamera Turbo.
  14. I hate to say this, but if the media hadn't focused only on his last name and realized he was Hispanic in the first place it probably would not have made the national news in the first place. Hence the "white-hispanic" moniker they had to make up after they realized their collective fuckup.
  15. The best exhaust for your LP560 is the one they install in North Carolina that happens to have twin turbos included.
  16. I saw your car in person then. I was there a couple months ago test drive the Aventador Roadster. I'm still mulling over whether or not to get the Aventador (I would be ordering a coupe, though) as I am still not 100% sure I want to get rid of my UGR G. I would love to have both, but right now it's one or the other. I remember commenting on how good your car looked in that orange as well as how cool the transparent rear bonnet looked. I actually like the e-gear in my Murci as it still has a very mechanical feel to it. You could hear and feel the mechanism working vs the completely silent operation of the current double clutch transmissions. Granted, the lurching on the shifts was annoying but I can only imagine how much better the LP640 is vs the '05 Roadster I owned.
  17. Pedestrian safety regulations. I'm guessing because of the materials used, etc. Lambo was able to do it that way.
  18. It looks just heavenly in black with exposed shiny carbon bits. My new preferred color for this car.
  19. Whats the wheel/tire size on the Aventador?
  20. fcuk that, I disagree. According to the report: "Oh yeah, I'm real messed up in the head, I'm going to go shoot up a school full of kids and eat their still, beating hearts," and the next two lines were lol and jk,' said Carter." If the lol and jk didn't make it clear it wasn't serious, I don't know what is. It's not like the guy was outside a schoolhouse yelling that he was going to kill everyone inside. I've seen plenty of folks here saying similar shit. Pot meet kettle.
  21. No frustration on my end, just having fun. My point is: Dude, seriously, you're bringing up overkill on a Lambo forum, really? I agree on what you say about 99% of the time. But my, oh my, that 1% when I do use the 1500hp it is GLORIOUS!!
  22. Makes sense. Do you want to chase armed drug dealers or unarmed suburban co-eds? Gotta love the welfare state...
