Even if it does beat a 720s, the real question is how does the mclaren need 150 less wheel horsepower to basically achieve the same results as an 850 whp huracan. Both are twin turbos. Assuming the mac would dyno around 700 whp and the lambo would be at 850 whp.

i guess the question is being answered about the Performante holding value or not. $20k off, probably a 5%+ discount in the first 6 months on a brand new spec to order car. HP is heading for at least a 10% depreciation loss first year if not more. That is about right in line with how the regular huracan depreciates.

How they heck did they have the regular huracan 610-4 beating the 918?

being how the 720s walks away from the huracan on the vids I have seen, straight line, I am surprised that it did not do better than the performante on this type of high speed track

It is sad.... but I believe that most 918 owners will buy these to have them sit or sell for a large profit, I don't foresee many being on the track at all. But I would definitely take one at MSRP. Any chance this might start a Ring War between Porsche and Lambo? Or maybe it has already been started...

would someone mind telling me how this works, does the person buy the car and title it and pay the tax and then sell it for msrp+tax+$$$ to actually make money? Does that work, are there are people that would pay 30-40k over sticker for this? OR do they work with the dealers and do not title the car or pay tax but somehow sell it for over msrp as an individual and not through the dealership? I don't get it.

Shouldn't the performante be able to handily beat those cars on those kinds of tracks? With what the viper and 918 did at the ring compared to the lambo I was just assuming it should have no problem beating them on the American tracks. Am I thinking wrong?

Did you go with the base model and build from there? Or did you chose the luxury/performance model and add to that? By your vids it looks like you went with base or luxury to start... Did you have a port processing fee for $4100? Makes the base MSRP basically $290k or $300k respectively.

so there really isn't a price difference at all lol, I'm sure you could equip a performante in 330's

How much more is it...You can have a decently equipped performante for 310-320, whereabouts is the mac at? Could you get a vf blower or ugr stage 2 kit for the difference?

My dealer does not have their demo yet either. I was told they would get it on the 27th.

Finished production in September means like oct/nov if you are not air freighting it?

My dealer in OH said my car is still looking like August delivery. Hard to believe though cause they still do not have their demo car yet. Some dealers say delay and some don't not sure why it is so hard to have the same information on the matter.

I have not heard anything from my dealer which makes me think it is delayed. When I first ordered the car the dealers where supposed to have their demos in May, then it got pushed back to June and now nearing the end of June I don't think very many dealers at all have their demo Performante. It would not surprise me if the customer cars got pushed back till after the factory shutdown which means we wont start seeing them till Sep./Oct. timeframe.

I wonder how well the sport mode/drift mode will work...I am hoping that it will be kind of easy to drift/have a little fun with but it will still probably be hard as hell to get it loose.

I do not believe that they made a regular 610-4 for 2017. I think they were all either 580's or 610-4 convertibles. I could be wrong.

How much are you going to be able to get if you sell for a mark-up right away?

I was told I could expect to have mine before the Lambo plant has its mandatory shut down in Sep. So August/September sometime I am hoping but I do have a feeling that it will be delayed.

When you order the comfort seats with laser engraving do you still get the bicolor sportivo package also or just the basic interior package + laser engraving?

can anyone who has seen the loge/red central lock in person give any feedback as to what shade of red it is? I am being told that is doesn't really match the rosso mars red very well. In fact Lamborghini would not let me order rosso mars red/red calipers/and loge/red central locking. They said that brake caliper red and centerlock red do not match well at all and would not let me spec that way. I asked for ad personam but said they don't have the time to test new colors. So I am trying to figure out exactly what shade of red we are talking about here. Red calipers with red centerlock going to look way off?
