That's cool!!! I have a lot of respect for what Ferrari has done. They finally made a car that backs up the brand for the first time in a long while. I am still not a fan of 5 way traction control and all that stuff. I drive a hummer h1 as a daily driver, and that is my favorite ride, so needless to say, I like rough and raw. The Lambo philosophy is more my style. But saying that, it would be hard to buy a 570 right now. The Gallardo currently has 5 versions of the 8 year old platform; LP-560, 560 spyder, 570SL, 570P and the Blancpain edition. It is confusing. I hear they are working on an entry level 205k USD 2-wheel drive stripped down version as well. Eventually there will be a SV edition as well, I'm sure. These many versions of something that should be phasing out is the problem for me. I don't know exactly what I am getting or where it fits in to the line up. That being said, I love more G-Spyder more than I like the 458. But, if I were looking today.... I'd be compelled to wait or buy a used 08 SL or Spyder. I look forward to the LP-700 and the G Generation 2. I hope the Gallardo replacement is carbon fiber everything and not too far off the current stylings.

I like the LP-570 SL better. But I am from the school of thought that lightweight high performance and convertible are an oxymoron. It does look nice, but I also feel the addition of stickers and more curves has finally hit the mark of "gone too far." The LP-570 is the most curvy, banged out Gallardo I can imagine. It does look nice, all Lambo's always do, but this and the Blancpain are one step beyond what I like in the excessive styling department.

Other than the gullwing doors, IMHO there is not a single appealing angle to the looks of the sls. I just don't understand, unless you just love Mercedes products, why?

For the price, I think these new Lotus designs are great! They look realistic. I would rather them show a sharp looking car that is a real car, rather than a concept. Great point about the Toyota power, Mako. I say win!

I have wanted a ST G for so long. What a waste. Even more of a shame is what Lambo is doing to the dealers. My local dealer has (2) LP-570-4's on order that are due in November. They ordered them upon release. Already, before they take delivery, there is a *newer* SL style car available, and they released a concept of what would be the starting grounds for the G replacement. Think about that.

The Kreissieg build quality, according to Lamborghini Bergen County (who has installed most of the aftermarket exhausts available), is far above anything else. They described the welding as artwork and the overall construction the best they have ever seen by 10 fold. So, I doubt quality is the issue. Not to mention, THE SOUND!! I have never heard anything like it... other than at the F1 race at Monza 2 days ago!! I am still in Italy. My Gallardo is at Lamborghini Bergen County right now. They recently installed the exhaust. It is there getting a touch up to the clear bra. You could try giving them a ring since, they just did mine 2 weeks ago, and it is right there in front of them. Best Of Luck!!
