  1. Probably b/c there were no mechanical changes from the 02 ot 03 model years except maybe upgrades.
  2. Shit man! I just had my 20th this past June! I partied like I was 18 and drank like I was 25. I took my fine-ass wife and showed all the chicks that wouldn't hang with the Preppy what they're missing.... I had a fcuk'n great time! Ready for the 30th!
  3. Man, that is truly Priceless! Wish I got that opp, as all I get are the ones that want to play bumper cars with my rear end!
  4. Just want to cut in here real quick and say that the figures on the Murci SV from R&T are INSANE! I'm not one to sensationalize from most of the stuff I read, but seeing the tuning evolution of the Murci from Lambo is truly incredible. Cudos to the Italian Wizards!
  5. Will you be taking a visit to South Beach by any chance?? If so, we can talk, as I'll probably have another 2 cars in as well.

    Gtech vs Vbox

Hey Guys, Just wondering what experiences you've had between the VBox (mini) and the GTech Pro RR. I know the VBox takes the lead with its GPS advantage, but unless you spend another couple hundred bucks and plan on some direct wire connect, the GTech wins on it's direct readings from the car itself. http://www.vboxusa.com/products.php#vbm01 http://www.vboxusa.com/products.php#mim01 http://gtechpro.com/rr.html I found this on the GTech site as to some variance comparisons: http://gtechpro.com/accuracy.html
  7. Hey Chris, maybe you might want to finish off that special trip in Mexico and bring that bad boy down to Miami in two weeks for the Naples Run. Damn NICE!!
  8. Done Deal... I would have voted for her anyhow!!
  9. Way to go on those shots and settings! Those pearl shades of Orange are amazing in the sunlight and lighting effects!
  10. Just caught on to this thread.... What's up Mike!? Well, not sure if you're aware, but one of my companies is in management/marketing services for physicians. I've left the industry to partner up with two of my clients (physicians) for some really interesting weight loss, rejuv and enhancements treatments that are mind blowing. We've been testing some of these (yes, they are safe, but I wanted to see if for myself before dedicating any time...) with friends and family for about a year now and the results are great! Mainly, the services and products offered are for improved daily health and increasing life longevity with increased rejuvenation along the way. There will also be all the other items like HGH, HCG, etc, etc. They will even be available on the net in FL. Some of the items are custom compounded just for these guys. I must say, it's pretty interesting and neat stuff. You might want to give something with them a shot just to get you going in the beginning, then keep yourself up on your own from there. The new office opens in Doral in about 30 days. Otherwise, at least exercise-wise, you might also look into the Cross Fit Miami guys. They are in Doral off of 87th Ave. It's very similar to the P90X program, but in a group class setting, and I will personally tell you, IT IS INSANE! All of these home programs like P90X, just doesn't work for most people, as you need to keep it up like a science and your own home just doesn't allow it at times (at least not for me). Nothing like having a trainer or buddy(s) to keep yourself going and push you to the next level. What Bill said concerning the food program is also great. My best friend is getting back on it for health reasons and he is a single guy so is spending a fortune eating out every day. It's about $35 bucks a day for 3 meals I believe.
  11. Haven't even had my first yet, so glad to hear someone is covering me out there!! CONGRATS!!
  12. BTW, Sko, when are you making that special trip you mentioned to the Promised land of South Beach!? You should get your ass down here for that Oct 10th run to Naples we're doing... If you get here a day or two early, we can take you partying to Chuckee Cheez South Beach
  13. Man, I don't know about this, but I can think of a few cars that will easily beat these guys... http://finance.yahoo.com/family-home/artic...od=family-autos
  14. Well said Evile... saved me some typing. Keep in mind that due to it's not having ABS or other electronic aids, it's not legal to be sold as a production vehicle in the U.S., but it's legal every where else in the world, just like the Noble. I for one do SCCA, NASA, etc., as a hobby, and I can personally attest to the dangers of ABS on the track (lost my last ride due to ABS failure on the track...). Getting away from teh track thing though, it's safer and more reliable than most exotics on the road (Full steel roll cage and structural door beams). The "loop-hole" so to speak, is to have the purchaser "sign and pay" a 3rd party (which actually has a certified build completion agreement with Rossion), in this case American Speed Factory (The U.S. Ferrari Race teams' technical engineers and race instructors), to simply "drop-in" the engine and drive-train. All cars have the same installs. It is then sent back to Rossion HQ where it is finished and tested. You get the car 'delivered from and by Rossion Automotive'. They've already sold one year of their total annual allocation, and with a production limit of only 48 U.S. examples per year, you can't get much more rare and unique than that. I can't tell you the attention this car gets, and I could really careless, as I'm in it for the performance and just love the design. Even better, as Rossion releases upgrades and improvements to the car, it's all retro-fit to the existing Q1's, so it always has the capability to improve with time. IMO, it drives like nothing else, but if I were to compare it, I'd say a combo between the Lotus Exige and Lambo Gallardo SL, +++. Some of the local Lambo guys visited Rossion at our last gathering and were quite impressed. In the end, it's like any other of the brand race-prepped versions(Lambo G SL, F-Car Scud, P-Car GT3), but with some seriously staggering numbers.... as of late, these are the stock stats: 0-60: 3.1 (Autoblog 3.2) 0-100: 7.4 (Autoblog 7.5) 1/4 Mile: 11.0 at 124 (Autoblog 11.1 @ 120) Top Speed: 185 but I'd say this is debatable, as it's drag limited and I know they are going on M400 Numbers. With the new aero and higher HP, I'd say more around 192, but then it gets gear limited I believe. Conditions are also a factor.
  15. It's exactly what it's meant to be, a Roadster with comforts and A/C, and so-called prestige of "Ferrari" plastered all over it (I know I'm gonna get slammed for that one ). There's nothing extreme about it... a BMW Z4 is a better performing and more defined roadster, with all the creature comforts (actually more) for a fraction of the price. I won't shoot it down either, as it's not horrid, but definitely does not honor the Ferrari name in any way.... it's the age old "entry level" marketing excuse to get more cars out the door to a different profile market, as already has been stated.
  16. Yes. For those of you who met my friend Sean on the gathering 3 weeks ago, that is his car which is being delivered as I write. We now have 2 Rossions on Miami Beach I just found out that they are almost 1 year into U.S. orders, which will get even more backed up as Road and Track just did very positive review on it as well which will be in the Nov, 2009 edition.
  17. Here's one of quite a few more write-ups you'll be seeing on the Rossion Q1 as they expand their brand recognition. http://www.autoblog.com/gallery/first-drive-rossion-q1/#29 AutoBlog_RossionQ1_082609.pdf
  18. Yep, sounds like another one of BO's empty words!! All I can say regarding Kennedy, is that to "really" know the man, is to hate his ass!! He is gone now though, so let him reflect on his life on God's terms.... RIP....
  19. Nice to hear that Brett is still kick'n it hard!! Funny that my wife now knows him as a TV persona from Exotic Exposed and other appearances. Welcome Aboard Brett!!
  20. Big Deal! My wife does that same dance before she makes me coffee every morning
  21. Here's my take... WHO GIVES A SHIT!! I bought my car at full price and am enjoying it to Hell! I could care less about how much I'm losing till the day I sell it, which is definitely not in the foreseeable future. Those of us experienced with exotic resale know that our return is not in the dollars at sell off, but in the time we enjoyed the car; not to mention the friends I've made (priceless), Rock-Star presence it has portrayed, and the events/charities I've had the honor and privilege to attend, helping those who are not as fortunate. Unless you are a F-Fag or Garage Queen holder, then drive the hell out of them and live it up. There's two ways you can walk through this crap economy recession..... frowning on your knees bitching and moaning, or like most of the true members here, with positive "take no prisoners" attitude and perseverance!! As for those auctions... they're another form of gambling IMO, just like the "speculation" ordeal of the Stock Market. I'd trust Ebay pricing more!!
  22. Sounds like you've got it taken care of... I had printed the ad just incase. What truly amazes me is the $100K loss of value in 3 years!? Nice buy and Congrats... Now drive the hell out of it!
  23. Hope you guys have a f'ckn blast!!! I'm kicking myself in the ass as I type for not getting up there, but I am smack dead center in the construction of my pet project lounge down here. You know the routine... PIX PIX PIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. Hell, if you're flying down next weekend, yet another excuse to meet and party!! Keep us posted!! Yes, it may be HOT as HELL down here, but I'll live with it!!!
