More times than not an AWD drive car will launch better on the street than a prepped drag strip. I'm sure Brooks can confirm. The race would be much closer on the street between these 2 cars in stock form.

It looks like that SL was an e-gear converted to a 6 speed manual. I see e-gear paddles on the steering column.
