Crazy. awful awful awful...i work long distance with some people in Colorado and i hope they are ok. Strangely my first thought was for a loon who obviously was a batman fan it seemed strange to me that he didn't wait until the end of the movie. didn't he want to see how it ended before he either died or was incarcerated for life? I never understand the need for these nut jobs to take others down with them...is it just to leave their mark on history? (it really is too bad he wasn't gunned down...the thought of millions, literally millions of tax dollars being wasted on this scum who shouldn't be breathing our air annoys the hell out of me)

Two bikes here. 1977 CB 750F 1986 GSXR 750 havent ridden a mile yet the CB is at the beginning of a ground up rest, and the GSXR is a recent purchase and i haven't even picked it up yet. hopefully i'll be logging some miles soon.

The last time i checked a mustang with 550hp couldn't out drag or out track a C6 with 430hp. I'd bet this viper with 640hp will have a better 0-60 and a better 1/4 than shelby's forthcoming Mustang GT1000...and around a track its not even the same sport. Exceedingly few cars are gonna be able to match this viper (at any price point)...the last ACR out paced just about everything at the ring (7:12.13) Zonda F's, GT2RS, ZR1, Enzo, MC12, GTR, 599, LFA NR...all off the pace. it took a well set up Gumpert Apollo to beat it by 1 second...after that its just dedicated track cars. The regular versions are gonna be beasts...the ACR whenever it shows up will be ungodly. p.s. everyones got an opinion...but IMO it looks great.

while your on the pre side of marriage i doubt this info will do much good...but i got curious about and started looking into "post nups"...i wasn't even sure such a thing existed. but in fact they do and seem to be gaining popularity. i'm far from an expert so i won't go into much detail ,but with a "post nup" it seems you can protect assets from the possibility of separation after already being married. in the same way a party in a relationship can be leveraged into signing a pre nup to enter a marriage...it is possible that a party in the marriage can be leveraged into signing a post nup to remain in the marriage. as opposed to, if you don't sign a pre nup we can't get married...its, if you don't sign a post nup sign we cannot remain married. sounds tricky relationship wise, but might be useful under the right circumstances (big financial changes around the corner).

haha. i remember those days. ELF threads and such. i don't remember how i found LP. i probably had been cruising around Fchat and decided that Lambo's were where cooler and maybe something in there lambo threads lead me here. I just remember how cool it was what the Modified Luxury exotics lambo power issue came out and i already new all the cars in detail. IMO there are no other lambo forums. improvements...none really pop to mind for the forum. although i do think it would be cool for LP to start a annual owners invitational. sort of like the Viper community has VOI every year.

I agree with everyone else that piano is the gateway. JUST DONT MAKE HIM HATE IT! everybody i grew up with and myself all ended up dropping the piano and in some cases music because what started out as fun became a chore, became a drill, became something your parents forced you dogmatically to do until you hated the piano, hated your teacher, hated practicing, hated playing...just wanted to quit more than anything. Like anything your kid has a talent for and shows heart/passion...fan the flames, support, encourage...just don't wreck it by taking the shine off it. kids who are destined to be great won't take much pushing...they'll practically drag you and your wallet all the way to the finish line. sounds like your off to a good start though. p.s. music teachers can also make or break your kids passion...so listen to the feedback your kid gives. if under one teacher your kid LOVED what he was learning and you could see him and his talents growing...while under a new teacher he looses that drive and begins to shy away...it might be the teacher/coach.

All of the above...Spot on. swung by...walked around for 15 minutes. table after table of useless junk...old stereo, random golf clubs, clothes, used tools, the odd well worn guitar, snowboard, painting etc. a little jewelry...nothing to right home about. about the only good stuff were bicycles...lots of good looking bikes even if they were used. i won't be back for the auction.
