  1. Agreed. They need to pull their heads out and resolve that soon.
  2. Should be able to use home WiFi without data plan. I can see the appeal for traveling, or casual around the home use. Viewing internet or video on the iPhone sucks, and sometimes a laptop is just too bulky to carry around. They'll sell a ton at $500 IMO.
  3. The iPad pricing starts at just $499. That's for a 16GB, non-3G model. 32GB $599 for and 64GB for $699 - and if you want a 3G model, it will cost an extra $130 - $629, $729, $829.
  4. Confirmed - iPad. Looks like a 10" iPhone
  5. My '84 LP5000S weighed in right about at 3250 with about 1/4 tank of gas.
  6. Did it several times on an old Isuzu car. Was easy to do and smooth. I only did it at lower speeds (under 40 mph) and have never done it in a more expensive car, but it can be done.
  7. Why are the hose clamps blue? I doubt that is to original spec.
  8. Sounds good, Chad. I would be interested in this as well. I don't have $15k for the one that's available now.
  9. I would definitely be interested in a steel T/O bearing collar and new bearing setup. I was going to go down that route when I get mine out - someday - but if the price is right, I'll go ahead and buy one. As for the clutch disk, yes any clutch shop should be able to reline the disk. A friend of mine had his Miura disk relined in kevlar at a local shop for around $100 or so. I can get the contact info if someone needs it - just PM me. I wasn't aware you could rebuild pressure plates, but that's good to know.
  10. I heard. A friend of mine had just left when the tent blew away. Was your car affected, or do you know? Do you know when it's supposed to run?
  11. News is saying 4-6 inches of rain in Phoenix in the next couple of days.
  12. So a baton is illegal in the UK? A stick? Really? What kind of sick place do you live in? Seriously, though, an illegal stick?
  13. I'm listening to KFI on my iPhone, and they just had a emergency broadcast system warning of a waterspout heading toward Redondo and Manhatten beach. Head for the hills! Oh wait, they're sliding away. You guys are screwed.
  14. You Californians are such drama queens - a little rain, a tornado warning, a few fires, the earth vibrating, and suddenly it's the end of the world.
  15. At first glance I thought they were extra A/C vents - would definitely add value in Saudi Arabia or Arizona
  16. Wow, that blows. In AZ, you only pay on the difference. Also, in AZ, if you buy from a private party, there is no tax, whether it's a $15k Civic or $150k Murcie. Not so in CA.

Another year and you'll be able to get a AM V8 for $50k as well.
  18. I made a new set from MSD wires on an old 400i a while ago. The only real PITA was drilling out the black rubber donut wire separators to retain the stock look.
  19. Pumas FTW. Narrowest shoe I've found. They do look pretty gay, so I only wear them when in the CT. Vans slip-ons are also quite narrow.
  20. I don't think that will end up in the $3 spicy tuna rolls.

I just saw it today and yes, it is exactly the same. Pretty weird. It is a fairly thin plot with some inconsistencies, such as how are the humans able to fly choppers unpressurized with the gun doors open and no masks, but everywhere else they need masks?
  22. Looks cool to me. Reminds me of a tricked out Citroen DS
