  1. Passion; Fixed. And that is the rub, my point, the objective becoming politically subjective. What happens when they decide Hershey's is poisoning us all, revoke all Hershey trademarks/ candy making patents? It seems we are heading very quickly in this direction. Ok. I'm done. Just found the trademark revocation quite alarming.
  2. Today's poll numbers would seem to indicate that at least 60% agree w/ those bullet points. In other news, as a result of the Redskins' team owner's refusal to follow the whims and opinions of congress regarding the team's name (because what the hell better way to spend their time, on our dime, since everything else is going so incredibly well), the trademark commission revoked the Redskins' trademark protection. Seriously. If that found its way into a movie plot twist the sheeple would throw popcorn at the screen. Awaiting RD's passionate take on this decision!

    June 6...

My grandfather hit that beach and kept on rolling with his Big Red 1 mission. Unfortunately, he passed away in his early 60s (damn that is young) when I was around 7 or 8, so I never got the first hand account in detail. We have photo albums, his uniform, the bronze stars, and the newspaper clippings he sent back to my grandmother from germany...which are simply amazing. Heros, everyone of them. RD, thanks for the post.
  4. RD...you continually amaze me w/ your immediate relay of breaking news. Seriously, not a peep on the national news front, thus far. ** fonzie.
  5. "Rest the barrel on the diving board..." Hilarious.
  6. Well thats not g r e a t. At all. Sorry for your loss.
  7. Sharp. Very impressed BMW followed through stylistically w/ regards to the concept. It may not be everyones cup of tea, but believe it to be ground breaking in terms of production body style and material (especially given price point), for non "exotic" manufacturer.
  8. Explains goodyear blimp verbiage re: alan is a pimp. DOH- you beat me to it!!
  9. I'm standing by my theory. Rookie unaffiliated hi-jacker. My moped won't start. I checked the starter, the ignition, fuel, neutral safety switch. Battery? Anyone know where I can get fresh moped battery? You know, the special kind. Strawberry flavored.
  10. Tin Hat tomfoolery is interesting, no doubt, but the most likely guess as to the plane's location is the most obvious, in the drink. I don't believe that plane had anyone or anything of enough "value" to attempt the theft of a 777. Even if they could land on an old wwII outpost island, don't believe they could hide it. And, great, now you have a plane w/ no fuel My two hypothesis... and they are flawed: 1. Hijacking gone wrong from the jumpseat. This could explain the turning off of equipment as perhaps the hijacker had knowledge of how to do so. Pilots confuse hijacker w/ course/heading and put jet in the water in order to prevent another 911-esque attack. Problems; What are the targets w/n the planes range?? And, no group has taken credit. 2. Suicide. Unusual for two pilots to have a suicide pact so one incapacitates the other. Autopilot set, equipment turned off, slams jet in the middle of no where water knowing it will be very difficult to prove suicide. No family shame, insurance policy pays out. Problem; this seems beyond the pale of someone who is merely suicidal and, well, easier ways to off oneself.
  11. I hear more and more people speaking of dropping their fb accounts. That's my bubble, don't know the trend, but would seem to be rather telling.
  12. Loves: FF...even the way it looks. If ever one were to find its way into the garage, custom shields that feature a kicking donkey vs. the horse. Old dodge power wagons! You don't like'm, make sure you're still a man. Forestry Department livery, even better. GT40 Superformance. You think its a "kit car", I think you're sad, lonely, and can't appreciate a 95% facsimile that is an absolute blast to drive and doesn't require James G's wallet. James G: hoping he accidentally revives a by gone era and brings forth "a one man's vision" renaissance in the automobile business, only one far more affordable. Ford Raptor. Waiting for 2015 build. It will see more pavement than dirt. Don't care. 2015 S class coupe may actually be cooler than a 991. Lets face it, my commute is not a race track, if it were, I'd rock a track car. The Countach, 2001 Diablo, and LM002 are the Lambo trinity for me. 512 TR. I'm starting to crave the Miami Vice look, minus the drug trafficking porn 'stache and pink jackets. I'm talking d p porsches, folks. And yeah, Kia is doing a fabulous job from a design perspective. Rising design/quality tide lifts all boats. Secretly, think it would be fun to have a new beetle, all wheel drive, and huge h.p. just to red light troll new turbo buyers! Hates: The Panamera, but love the wagon version they showed last year. The 348, 355, suck. I know everyone loves the 355, get over it. Top Gear (U.S & U.K), you've jumped the shark. Go away. Chris Harris is my bloke. Honda. You, you, what the hell are your doing. Never liked you, and you've proven my point for me.

    Olympics

Hope your parents stay healthy. A friends co-workers who are there w/ a sponsor co. all became sick after being there 24 hours. And, Rob, yeah, if the Russians had done this any differently, I would have had to throw away everything I believed about Russia. My ignorance and stereotypical views of mother russia have thusly been rewarded. Blissful.

    Olympics

What a farce. Seriously, the hotels are not finished. The water is not only non potable; you can't even bathe with the water. As if the lack of functional plumbing is not bad enough, the Russians are currently holding a Chibani yogurt shipment hostage and refusing to allow the US team to take delivery. Go home Russia, you're drunk...and belligerent.
  15. Waiting for the next raptor is driving me nuts.
  16. Condem house, scrape it, and start digging. Rational explanation? The devil's biggest win is the convincing of persons he does not exist.
  17. Benson, wow, that's climbing into the way back machine and hitting the "obscure" button. Anyways, enjoying your hypothesis support. Some... a couple of great shows in that mix.
  18. That grill would be an insult to steaks, much less an automobile. We have a Lexus ute. Bomb proof, easy on the eyes. Lexus has let the LX languish and fallen asleep at the switch w/ respect to the entire line up. I would be and want to be a repeat buyer but they are so far out of the loop its silly.
  19. I think it's a home run. Loss of 700lbs, and sharp looks.
  20. Must say, looks very Pratt and Miller, and awesome. I will be shocked if it has a DCT, but if it does, goodness great!!
  21. Jalopnik is reporting 620hp/650 torque-ty-torques. Obligatory 'murica. http://jalopnik.com/2015-chevrolet-corvett...nd-f-1496255058
  22. That was the original scene in "wolf of wall st" that eventually led Marty to destroy an original 25th, something about the replica not looking "authentic".
  23. Why the hell did he choose red? It would be great white.
