Ha True Romance! I remember watching that as a kid for the first time, I was about 8? and was like wtf is going on! A good film.

Saw it last night, was totally average. Just lots of nothing, the action was good, but it was mainly setting the scene for the next few. Although I did like the way the timeline synced with the previous ones.

Oldboy is a brilliant movie. One of the best, I shudder to think what the Hollywood remake will be like. The Skin I Live In, had that sitting on my hard drive for a year and still not watched it. The other lists in this thread are pretty spot on too. Some more that I haven't seen mentioned: Before the Devil Knows your Dead - P S Hoffman at his best. We Own the Night Red Cliff part 1 and 2 - epic Chinese Jon Woo movie Little Miss Sunshine Mystic River Machete - Not amazing but amusing to watch Infernal Affairs - What the Departed was taken from almost scene for scene Kick Ass Green Zone Unthinkable - I really enjoyed this movie Sam L Jackson puts on a good performance The Boat That Rocked Blood Diamond 3:10 to Yuma Tropa de Elite 1 and 2 (The Elite Squad) - Brazilian Movies, some really good scenes in the favelas of Rio Too much effort doing any more lol
