kmb58 Report post Posted December 21, 2015 Clicked to see what kind of new crap would show up. Just reinforced my hatred of kit cars. There are some trainwrecks for sure. But there are also some fantastic cars out there. Even those miss something. Usually the wheels. There are some really nice 6.0 builds out there but they used the copies of the 6.0 wheels which are rolling abortions. I have not seen that red countach (pictured above) up real close, but man- driving by it looks impeccable. Yes, they're all copies, wannabees, what ever you want to label them. But really, who cares? They certainly don't devalue the real cars and you have to respect the work that goes into the good ones. As someone said earlier in this thread, it is more or less 1:1 model building and it hits a bit close to home as I am restoring a Diablo. Someone told me they view that as building a kit car. uhm.
