The human body can survive over a minute without oxygen (maybe some brain impairment but eh, you were dumb enough to go on this ride so you probably won't notice). All that would coaster would be is some decent positive G forces, draining the blood out of the brain. You would go unconcious and GLOC out. Unless that ride is a hell of a lot longer it wouldn't result in your death. What terminal velocity? Think it's faster than a min radius turn in a fighter jet? Because that is generally about 9G and pilots can go through that without GLOC and without the aid of a g-suit (ie: Tbirds and Blue Angels). Your average american waddling around an amusement park nearly blacks out if they get out of the lazy-boy too abruptly.
