Sold out all evening at the two local multiplexes every day since launch; tonight I tried to head out to see something else and couldn't park because of the hundreds of fcuking people cramming in to see Skyfall. Talking about movie disappointments, I have a pretty strong stomach after Prometheus. So long as Bond doesn't have graphic sex change surgery, exclusively drive a Fiat Panda and spend the whole runtime doing actual spy work rather than poncing around in a Savile Row suit shooting everyone, I think I'll enjoy it. Blackened_007 Report post Posted November 8, 2012 Saw it last night. Loved it. I keep playing parts over in my head... I'll probably go see it again. A lot nods to Bonds of the past. Felt nostalgic. Craig was great per usual, but Javier Bardem was FANTASTIC as the villain!! I didn't read anything about the plot so there were some interesting surprises. As one review put it "perfect mixture of plot and action." If you are a Bond fan you will appreciate it and if you've never seen a Bond it will still be a great first one -albeit there are a few quips and lines about the past- but other than that the storyline is new.
