oufan2929 Report post Posted September 26, 2012 I think this is the same dog box tranny that the russians use which is shifted with no clutch.....maybe Jason can confirm? Peter So people are putting dog boxes in Lambos now? How are they holding up? Is that something UR did for them or they did themselves? Heffner Performance Report post Posted September 26, 2012 To reiterate, this is not a dog box. Also, as I stated earlier, the car was on Mickey Thompson radials, not M&H's. The car was indeed only at 24.5 psi. We got to the track at around noon and had to be out by 5:00. As I said, we have only just scratched the surface here. Once we spend a bit more time on the set up and add in the rest of the power, it's going to go a bit quicker.

dragvorl Report post Posted September 26, 2012 We have installed a clutch pedal which allows us to launch the car however we need to in order to suit track or road conditions. So the clutch pedal is used only at launch? Like on F1?
Assman Report post Posted September 26, 2012 So the clutch pedal is used only at launch? Like on F1? Looking forward to when J. Heffner can reveal more details about this system. I know for now it needs to be kept a little cryptic as it's still in development, but that's got to be some cool engineering.
