HannibalACP82 Report post Posted October 1, 2014 Having seat time in Doctas 50th the attention you get in unreal and the experience is amazing. I am not at all surprised to hear him say he loves the 50th more then the Bug! The roof alone is worth the price of admission...so easy to put on and take off that I can't imagine why anyone would want to buy the coupe! This color combo is amazing. The exterior is fantastic and bringing the blue inside via the stitching is a very classy touch. I hope this one stay sin the collection for quite some time! VBUGKING Report post Posted October 2, 2014 What a car! Beautiful shots. One of my favorite Aventadors to date! Thanks, I am really surprised by how dramatic the 50th is in person.
VBUGKING Report post Posted October 2, 2014 Out of all the colors, I have to say Blu Nethus is by far the best and if I was ever lucky enough to own one it would be this. Such an electric, eye popping color..it must look like its glowing going down the street. Congrats on this and your entire fleet! It really is a gorgeous color, especially in person. I am very glad Lambo agreed to paint it for me. This color and Rosso Effesto are actually pretty tough to get Lamborghini to do. They will only do one every few months, and I hear they may be stopping them all together soon. My friend has a Rosso Effesto roadster on order, and his order has gotten delayed several months. I told him to wait it out because the color is worth it!
VBUGKING Report post Posted October 2, 2014 Gorgeous! Congratulations! Thanks, I appreciate it. I am very happy I ordered this car! Most impressive Aventador ever. What a car! Congrats again and enjoy it in good health. Thanks man, you were a big help in making this possible, and now that it is here, I am blown away! Plate ideas: IMSOBLU, 2BLU4U Car is ridiculous. In a very very good way. Hehe, thanks. I like those plate ideas, but I am unsure which direction I am going yet. amazing car! love the color combo. I am so glad everyone is liking how it turned out, thanks. Could not put it anyother way, congratz it's amazing! :icon_thumleft: AMAZING would be a great plate haha (probably already taken) dear god that thing is gorgeous! Ill try and find some that I took (wont be as good as Tanners). That's just ridiculous! Thanks man, it will look good next to my Huracan! I am not sure if I mentioned this to everyone, but I got the roadster top in shiny black, which looks a million times better than the weird matte grey they normally come in. I prefer the type of attention in the Avenatdor, although I would prefer to approached less. They both get about the same quantity of attention, but the Bug is still the king because EVERYONE knows what it is and how much they cost. The attention is very hardcore and tough to deal wtih, people lose their minds, and will stalk and chase you in hopes they can meet and talk to you. The good news is, its not too hard to get away from most people with 1001 hp lol. Thanks for the nice comments, I agree with you 100% about the roof. If the Aventador Roadster came out with a Murci style top I would not have gotten a roadster, and likely would not have a coupe even though they are amazing. I prefer the top down experience for this type of car!

Blue Nethuns and Rosso Efesto are two of the best colours made by Lamborghini imo (along with Arancio Atlas and VI), how come it's so hard to get them to do them? Love the 50th btw, definatly one of my favorite ones made

VCR Report post Posted October 4, 2014 No paint expert here but according to an insider of Lamborghini, both Blu Nethuns and Rosso Efesto require a 4-coat process i.e. even more complicated than Arancio Borealis and Giallo Midas (3-coat process). Furthermore, a lot of the paint pigments actually come from the Sendai area of Japan which was affected by the Fukushima earthquake/tsunami/radiation leak disaster. Consequently and very unfortunately, reliable source says as of late Spring, Lamborghini has announced the suspension of offering Blu Nethuns and Rosso Efesto as these paints are hindering production due to product availability shortages and complexities in the painting process. Rumour has it that only 3 Blu Nethuns car are being produced between August & November 2014 and that would be it. (Or at least until Lambo comes up with a substitute blue that is equally as good.) VBK's 50th roadster is highly likely one of them. This makes it even more exclusive! Although incidentally, isn't the Asterion in BN? VCR Report post Posted October 4, 2014 According to Lamborghini it's Blue Elektra. Thank you. Cheesy on Lamborghini but appropriately named I suppose. Now that is very unfortunate. I was hoping to see a Huracan in Blu Nethuns when they opened up the Ad Personam options! Well, never say never. Back on topic. VBK's anniversary roadster in Blu Nethuns is :icon_thumleft:
