rmtn Report post Posted August 14, 2017 Yep and that is only one of about 25 known camps which are listed on the side of that wikipedia page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Report_of_the...public_of_Korea "The Commission concluded that the North Korean government was perpetrating "unspeakable atrocities" against its own people on a vast scale [39] and committing “widespread, systematic and gross”[10] violations that amounted to crimes against humanity. The Chair of the Commission called these atrocities “strikingly similar” to crimes committed by Nazi Germany in World War II.[11][33][40][41] Crimes included execution, enslavement, starvation, rape and forced abortion." "Talking about these crimes, the Chair of the COI (UN) stated: "Unlike earlier totalitarian states and oppressive conduct, the world cannot now lament, 'if only we had known...' Now, the world does know. And the question is whether the world will respond effectively and take the necessary action."" emanon Report post Posted August 14, 2017 What does everyone In here think that the response will be if Kim fires missiles anywhere near the territory of Guam? The smart move (big picture). Smack it out of the sky like a mosquito and then do nothing. Followed up by a message along the lines of that was your one warning. Next time, our response will be to erase your existence from this planet. I feel like a quiet show of strength would be well received on a world scale, without putting any other countries in a position where they have to make a lose-lose decision. Also reinforces NK's shitty bargaining position and makes it very attractive to step back in line.

So is it worth it if we miss? Part b of your plan is idiotic. You realize if you turn off the 10 lights running at night in NK using a nuclear strike creates so much collateral damage and potential escalation its not worth it. Therefore not credible. The only solution to this is squeezing Chinah till they stop underwriting the regime and that will come with significant economic cost to us. So on this topic Trump gets a B and would get an A if he'd park! the fire and fury destabilizing rhetoric and ramp up the sanctions. There is no military solution to this until we have reliable anti missile tech. And ultimately I do not think NK will ever give up their nuclear weapons voluntarily. It is a seventy-year-old technology, it takes time to refine but it's not an iPhone. Hard part is acquiring the fissile materials. They are willing to sacrifice everything and everybody to stay in power. Think about it, the entire country is dark at night and they are developing nuclear ballistic missiles. The Americans did it before the transistor was invented, albeit with an unlimited budget...

kinnsella Report post Posted August 15, 2017 http://www.news.com.au/world/missile-alarm...60b718e949993fa Glass these fuckers Nuanced approach Rob. You do realize that 90 percent of the population are basically functioning as slaves. This from the last time nuclear weapons were used in case you need a reminder. "Glassing them" will significantly damage all our allies in the region and also damage China our biggest trading partner. Russia will probably like it as it may open up more north port access. Vladivostok is an absolute shit hole, so the Russians will probably thank Trump for taking it out.

Did you see me expressing my disgust above that there is a literal holocaust happening in the country are you trying so hard to paint a picture you'll ignore what I say when it isnt convenient for your theories? "Mattis added that if North Korea fires at the U.S., "it could escalate into war very quickly... yes, that's called war, if they shoot at us." General Mattis gets it, Why is Kinnsella a better military strategist? Did you miss the part where China said they would not intervene in NK attacked? http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/08/11/ch...orea-first.html BTW last time Nuclear weapons we're used it saved millions of more lives from death in war and instantly ended the greatest war the world has ever seen. edit: im not implying we should strike first if thats what you're working towards? But if they fire at us, there should be nothing left of Pyongyang when we return volley.

kinnsella Report post Posted August 15, 2017 And what was the result? The Soviets scoured Eastern Europe and picked up every German missile and nuclear tech they could find and had a thermonuclear weapon before Stalin died. US did the same. This pisses me off too. Saudi Arabia should have been on the travel ban. We should have held them responsible for funding the 9/11 attackers by the previous two administrations as well. We could be totally energy independent of them if we chose to stop sucking at their tit. Money has truly corrupted our country that we remain allies with the largest sponsor of terror in the world and the ones who are directly responsible for the deadliest terror attack in our country. Sickening and treasonous
