kingjr9000 Report post Posted July 3, 2016 Is this stuff true? I got it fro TeamSpeed: REVEALED Aventador 2.0 Ok finally.... I have been guarding this info for a very very long time. But now the time has come. I present to you: The Aventador LP800-4 This is not a facelift, this is the Aventador 2.0. There will be so many upgrades from the original. You will see many elements in this new car from both the SV, the Huracán and the Centenario. Here are the new stuff that you might see: * 800 HP - and more torque. * Lamborghini's new "Doppia Frizione" - Dual Clutch gearbox. * Lamborghini Infotainment System, with TFT virtual cockpit display like in the Huracán. * ANIMA (Adaptive Network Intelligent Management). * Lamborghini Piattaforma Inerziale (LPI) * "LDS - Lamborghini Dynamic Steering" They will start production, not so long from now. topjay Report post Posted July 4, 2016 Was speaking to one of the test drivers, no details but he said the chassis improvements they have made make it super fast. Reckon it will be small power bump or same as sv, 4 wheel steering and some active aero and adaptive dampening, same clutch, buts that's just my guesses. ToofDoc Report post Posted July 5, 2016 Here is an article from Automobile Magazine on Centenario and 2018 refresh: "The key ingredients of the Centenario LP 770-4 will be carried over to the updated 2018 model year Aventador. According to those in the know, the drag resistance is going to be even lower thanks to more active flaps and rudders, the 740-hp SV engine will likely become the mainstay powerplant, and the brand-new infotainment system pioneered by the Centenario will make it into all future Lambos. The most significant revision is rear-wheel steering, which joins the list of standard features"
TeamSalamone Report post Posted July 5, 2016 sold! my first sv had 11k on it as I and this one is close to 10k with 2 more major rallies... I will have 30k SV miles under my belt in less than a year.. I will need another car at this rate
dealmaker Report post Posted July 5, 2016 I'm not hearing anything about a DCT box......and I hope not! I hate the DCT boxes in my other cars - they are SLOW in comparison to the SV!!! ...plus they lack the positive feel and emotion of the ISR box! So my vote is to keep the box! The only thing I would prefer would be a manual! Maybe they should do a LP750R !

dealmaker Report post Posted July 6, 2016 dealmaker did you end up with orange? Don't think I've seen any photos from you. Hi - yeah - ended up with Arancio Atlas - I don't think there were any "wrong" choices - and I wavered over Ithaca - but in the end I knew I would only be happy with Orange! Awesome gearbox under hard acceleration.
SV-N-IT Report post Posted September 16, 2016 SV gearbox is pretty awful for a car built in 2015. You need to drive a GT3RS. Awesome gearbox under hard acceleration. I own both cars and the RS tranny is smooth and lightning fast but the SV has those hard hitting shifts that feel like the front tires are airbourne! fits the car perfectly IMO I also don't think the factory would launch another aventador SV v.2 seems like a rumor.
