  1. I can think of alot of things that fit this description and are highway robbery.........but we still buy them.
  2. I had a Quicksilver on my 06 Bug. It was awesome and I thought it sounded like it should have from the factory. No lights, no issues, just 100% awesome sound. Worth the $ if someone is wanting a sound upgrade.
  3. Pretty typical....its was that way on my car and the cars Ive been around.
  4. Nice!!! Glad I talked you into it! LOL Now just lower that sucker!
  5. I have 2 sets of ADV wheels sitting around for an SLR if you want a custom set. I have a black set of ADV05 Deep Concave in 20 (these were Peaks old wheels of his black one) and I have a set in 20/21 in grey. No tires. No Damage or curb rash..like new in box. $2500 per set.

  7. Its simple things like this that makes some deals very complicated. I said one thing, with a very key word at the end (SOUNDING) and its gets twisted into another version. Hopefully you guys get it worked out. If not, luckily theres plenty of other cars to purchase.
  8. I have dealt many times with Brian and every single experience has been 100% above board with zero problems. Brian also helped me buy a car from Shane with zero issues and made it clear Shane wanted cleared funds before the car goes anywhere, which is 100% reasonable. It seems to me the problems is 2 things, the buyer trying the typical last minute funds arriving scenario and the great cashier check scenario. Me personally, I dont want a wire 2 minutes before the car leaves and I dont want a cashier check from ABC credit union in Bum Fck City USA. Period. The buyer should have placed deposit and then, if needed or wanted, should have set up a PPI (at buyers expense) and had a third party inspect the car or paid to have it shipped to dealer and have it inspected.....that solves all the "whats wrong with it issues" and then wired the money after the fact and picked the car up. Should be real simple. Again, Ive dealt with both Brian and Shane and both are 100% upfront and Ive had ZERO issues. If you dont like their rules, dont buy the car. Neither of them have to explain why anything. People are free to set their own parameters to selling their personal things regardless of what you might think. And NO Im not putting anyone in touch with anyone, so dont even ask.......I love the last line in the original post....cash in hand buyer....sounds impressive but not accurate. Last minute wires done before clearing and cashier checks are far from cash in hand......and if anything sounds fishy in this deal, its buyers payment methods and expectations of release of vehicle. ****I also think its appropriate to ask Moderators to change thread name to something less slanderous sounding****
  9. I would save yourself about 10k and buy a 15 GMC Denali. Thats what I did. I got the pearl white/atmosphere. The inside is really good looking and easy to use. I looked at the Escalades and they are just gaudy imo. Great daily truck...I like it a lot.
  10. Thats my old car....I had it done. Your not going to get much for the Mansory stuff after your done. I would say 175-180. It sold for less than that a while back and its certainly not appreciating...and the miles are creeping up there.
  11. Typical service. Rear always comes off.
  12. Avg service is $21k usd. Tires are $28k usd. TPMS sensors are $6k usd. and need to be changed when you change tires. Ive personally logged 10k miles in my Bug and have had zero issues. To me, driving the cars is key.....keeps everything functioning and lubricated. I was told point blank by Bugatti, my car had a lower service bill than 95% of the cars because I actually drive it regularly. My philosophy is drive the car = loss of value for miles BUT its fun! VS. not driving the car = $$ for higher maint. cost AND its no fun! LOL Ill take Option 1 all day, every day.
  13. The surround trim is aluminum or similar metal. Im not sure about the bolts.
  14. Yes, I was told they were out of his Gt clone car.
  15. Thanks for the kind comments. I just try to do deals how I would expect and like to be treated.
  16. I saw on the news a few minutes ago Crave Luxury got thrown under a Lamborghini Bus and Roy was driving. Roy, you are so bad! haha but I cant help but like you. LMAO
  17. Kourosh Mansory owns it, and hes Persian I believe. No doubt, the majority of the customers are from the middle east and are tailor built to their specs. He does everything in house and does alot of work for major car manufacturers also.....hence how he is the ONLY person to build "Non" Bugatti wheels that use the Michelin Pax system and is recognized by Bugatti with his wheels.....so no headache from the dealers when you need tire changes. Alot of the cars are pretty wild but if you toned down the colors and looked at what he did to the actual car to modify it, the majority are pretty sick and definitely one off.
  18. Not sure how many of you have actually seen one of Mansorys IN HOUSE built cars in person, but if you did you certainly wouldnt be talking like some of you are. His fit and finish are incredible and second to none. If this car pulled up next to a normal Aventador.....game over. If Im not mistaken the builds on these are 1m+........and you get that kind of quality with the price......so dont try to fool yourself into thinking its something else.....it is the best of the best. Period.
  19. I dont really regret any yet, but I have a feeling selling my 99 Bianca White/snowcorn roadster will be on my list one day.
  20. Yes, I sold to a good friend of mine.
  21. you think that comparable is bad.....compare the rear of the new bentley flying spur to a 1996 Impala SS.....
  22. Saw this on yahoo this morning. Merry Christmas to everyone also!
  23. You guys sound converted for life. LOL
  24. Since the Bike won I guess 4>16...LOL But the Bugatti sure is alot more comfortable!
