  1. The buyer that has $300k to spend has $350k to spend. Why wouldn't you buy a 4000 mile car for $50k more, especially if you only put 3k miles a year on it. At that rate it would take 4 more years to get to 16k miles, which breaks down to only $12,500 a year, and that does not factor in less maintenance and potential parts failures due to the higher miles. The greatest de-valuator on expensive exotics is extremely high miles. And no, there won't be any $250k Aventadors in a year with low miles. Low mile Aventadors will settle in the 300k range (plus or minus) depending on options and color combos.
  2. If I wonder if the new owner has one of these to park it next to?
  3. The driver may have "scrubbed" 10 or 40 KM's off his speed before he got hit with the radar also, thus writing him for everything he could.

  5. Good to hear some other real life input. I really don't know if Lamborghini did some "beefing up" on certain components that had shown issues in the Diablo.I was also wondering how the clutch would react in an Egear. Thanks frank!
  6. Thought I would share the sentiments of a Lambo tech that was well known by the factory for his knowledge regarding Diablos. I had brought up Kevlar clutches while he had an engine out in the service department doing a clutch and a full service. I wanted his opinion, since he was actually replacing a Kevlar clutch. Basically his response in so many words; The clutch from the factory is meant to slip after a certain amount, so as NOT to break other components in the driveline(tranny, differentials, driveshafts, crank). He said the Kevlar clutch has no "give", so you risk breaking other components of the vehicle. On a rear wheel drive only diablo, it was not as big of factor, since the rear wheels would break loose, but once there was AWD Diablos there were much great forces involved to get "wheelspin" to take the stress off other components. Made a lot of sense. By the way, he was NOT a fan of Kevlar clutches, because he had seen the extensive and expensive damage done first hand.
  7. Happy Birthday! I was wondering if I was the only one that read your screen name as Top Carbon for a long time. Exotics= Carbon Fibre
  8. Just a note: The E-gear system in not just about clutch life. There is an Egear pump. Accumulators and actuators are part of the system and they are expensive to replace if your tranny is not working properly.
  9. Hey JAKT123...I have a client that called me the other day to sell his 2004 Pearl yellow Murcie. I have service records and a few outside photos, but the owner will be visiting his Florida residence where the Murcie currently sits in about 10 days to get me more photos. I haven't advertised it yet. Email me at [email protected] if you have an interest. Thanks for your time!
  10. Hey Jeff, call our buddy at the lambo store and ask him who repairs wheels for the dealership. There will be somebody in the Denver who is mobile and visits dealers during the week and usually only repairs wheels. They should be able to refer that person and he can come right to your house and repair the wheel. No leaving your car anywhere and done on the spot.
  11. I would say 185k to 230k depending on year(2007-2009), miles(not super high), color combo, and history(service/ownership) with no stories.
  12. Congratulations Raj on your new LP 3 pedal 640! It was an absolute pleasurable experience working with you! The seller also made my job easy by assisting in arranging the enclosed transportation to Lamborghini Atlanta(Motorcars of Georgia) for the inspection in a very timely manner. I would also like to thank long time MoG service manager Brian Trochelmann, as he has proved over the years to provide excellent knowledge and expertise along with efficiency and a personal commitment to all of his customers for a satisfying experience. 1st class dealership that I would recommend(and have recommended) to anyone. Thanks again for your business Raj! Brian @ECS P.S. Your added Verde calipers...nice touch!
  13. Let me know if you have a set for sale. Thank you! Brian 417-300-6980 [email protected]
  14. I agree that Nick's requests were reasonable and understandable, and when I could not fulfill them I offered him the option to get a service like one provided in this link. http://www.carzinspection.com/compare-services.php There are many companies like this out there, and most all of them perform an inspection within 24-48 hours(some same day). While I don't recommend a company like this for an inspection of a Lamborghini, they certainly could have provided the information Nick was looking for. This company does it for $129, although most are around $200. Seems like cheap insurance to me, and would have answered all of Nicks questions. The owner did not object to having a third party do this type of inspection, except for them driving the car.
  15. There were several phone calls; one of which I suggested holding the transaction off a week, so I could obtain the requested additional info, and so his schedule would allow more time to have funds cleared before driving away. 6 days into the transaction and we are still going over Day 2 procedures of having funds cleared before driving away.
