  1. I'd put my bets on seeing a flash of this scene in a movie preview sometime in the future.
  2. I could not watch the video it seems to have been deleted nor have I read all the replies but I watched this the other day and videos like these give me hope in Law Enforcement. This guy handles these losers amazingly... I would have snapped! It is obvious that officer has educated himself more than required for the position. It is good to meet those who do. It is unfortunate so many get a power trip, and I personally think a higher education should be required to hold the position vs just an academy. ... PS how do I embed a video. When I click it I read " " where do I insert the URL, in between?
  3. Considering the business deals it takes to reach the means to acquire the things we chat about here - I think 99% of us will find this video funny, yet annoyingly true, as we think back to some of the conference calls we've had haha. Here it is: ConferenceCall
  4. So, I have gathered: 1) Prob best to choose Low-Jack over the upgraded speakers 2) Theft? Don't expect the police to go the extra mile... or yard for that matter 3) Wow: People can be miraculously dumb (sometimes I forget until I hear stories like these) 4) Re-affirmed that I can log in daily for a literal laugh out loud, haha some of these stories = WTF. Good detective work, too, people!
  5. Watch the video on the bottom of this webpage: Dude Wheres My Car Thoughts? Have you ever had a car stolen or something similar that is an interesting story and care to share what happened? My experience: When I was young my father had a Dodge Neon. We went to the mall and when he came out the car was in a different paring spot and $10 he had in the glove box was gone. We knew someone took the car for a joy ride - but it was a stick so we concluded he brought it back after probably jerking it around a few miles and deciding it was not worth trying to get it where he needed to get it (or he realized what a piece of crap it was haha) ... and he either could not remember where it was parked or that spot was taken! True story.
  6. PM sent - a have a friend with 2 Aventadors for sale I gave you his cell.
  7. Isn't that insane?! Also I did not know my post was replied to - is there a way in settings I can make it so I get an Email whenever something I post is replied to on the forum? If someone knows how just PM me please thanks!
  8. What I think after chatting with some friends about this: I think A) "One may be able to buy an exotic car, but that does not mean one can afford one." If a 9 year old, 88K mile Lamborghini is the only one someone can buy, then I feel like they'd be better off getting something else. B.) But if someone has always had a dream of owning one and knows what they are doing working on it & not go crazy when things go bad, considering maybe e-gear actuators, clutch life, throw out bearing, timing chain tensioners, clogged cats, gummed up intakes blah blah blah & can get it a little cheaper haha they will have an awesome deal on their hands. Maybe everyone is realizing "A" and that's why it hasn't sold so quick, & there aren't many people crazy enough for B - & those with the money to get those things fixed outside of their garages buy lower miled Lambos
  9. Exactly haha. Never know what you're gonna learn from others' questions, I love it.
  10. Thank you for the kind words and awesome advice! I agree. One thing I have been good at that I think people pretty much have to be good at to be ultimately successful (without having a heart attack from stress at age 29 lol) is to re-frame what others may see as failure as your own success. Perfect example is I might not sell this STS, but I already sold her R8 - which was a big step up from selling my 91 Cadillac for my Motorcycle . Furthermore through aspiring to sell the STS thus far I have established great relationships with owners of dealerships who I know will take care of me when I gain the money needed for a good DD, and have joined an awesome community in LP. Most of the time you can find small successes in failures - unless you completely screw everything up haha. Good luck next year everyone!
  11. The red is a nice touch, Allan. Also thanks for responding to me on Facebook regarding the Super Trofeo I have for sale in Lansing, MI vs shrugging it off, as I bet you receive hundreds of pointless messages daily. It will be a great accomplishment for that page to reach 1 Mill followers. Great eye candy.
  12. Great question! Spewing a related thought here: Being 20 years old in a family with the most expensive car in our driveway a Pontiac G6, reading all these threads about such amazing cars, it initially urged me to ask what everyone does as a career. It must annoy the hell out of you guys the random guy that I'm sure joins to ask that - who I'm sure also gets banned after because you guys are on top of it. I realized, though, that we all have our paths in life, and so I don't really want to know . I will get to where many of you are the way most of you did so - by making a ton of mistakes and sacrifice (some cuss words and lost sleep) but never giving up. For some the means to acquire nice things comes with inheritance and those sort of "golden spoon" related themes - however I know and I am sure you all agree that the vast majority of members who actually own a Lambo on LP have worked their asses off and still do for such a lifestyle. I think, unfortunately, many people (especially close to my age) think there are a few golden tips and tricks/rules and a steps to adhere to like a "Ten Commandments to be able to buy a Lambo" exists or something. It is awesome reading much of the things you all want to achieve this next year not related to cars - like being healthier and giving back more. For those who haven't and want a goal to shoot for other than a weight number, I challenge you to sign up for a Sprint Triathlon at X date in the future. Pay for it early, and block out that day. That way you have to train for it or you risk not finishing - or drowning haha! Have some fun with it and challenge an out of shape friend to train with you - and you can race each other or place bets. I am a triathlete at Michigan State so ask me if you want any good training plans. As for giving back I worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters XLT at an internship and that Org is amazing. Let me know if you want info on that I can get you in contact with the right people. As for my resolutions: 1) I have had 2 internships at Stryker Corp (the Med Tech one), and will be returning this summer to help improve their Supply Chain. I would like to kick ass there again and save the company thousands. 2) I pitched a start up executive summary to the director of a incubator and he loved it - so I want to make some mistakes and hopefully get that company making some money by the end of 2014! 3) Gain a traveler's vocab needed to survive in China. I am enrolling in Mandarin courses and plan to visit next year for insight into their culture in business 4) Plyo and quick-twitch muscle strengthening - so I can easily dunk a B-ball by the end of the year!
  13. +1 I agree & would wait for the next model. I don't have the pockets to purchase the Huracan, but that would be my logic. Plus I myself am a sap for the LPs
  14. Anyone wanna go for a swim? Big Waves Plus Ship
  15. Ask a hot girl, "What's the difference between a Lamborghini and an erection? "Girl: "What?" ... "Guy: I don't have a Lamborghini." HA Ask a hot girl, "What is your name - WAIT let me guess, Wifi?" "Girl: No wtf why?" "Guy: Because I'm feelin a real connection here" Are you from Iraq? Cause I wanna see you Baghdad ass up. Are your boobs from Wendy's? Cause I know when its real.
  16. Happy Holidays to everyone! Having just joined kudos to everyone for making me feel welcome off the bat on my first posts of me trying to sell the Super Trofeo Stradale. Also, I browsed all 26 pages of the business section this week, and learned more than the Broad MSU Business college taught me all of last semester haha... had some good laughs too.
  17. Nice signature, haven't seen that movie in ages!

  18. I was going to delete this post due to the fact that I re-posted it in the for sale Lambo section of the form to hopefully get more eyes on it and do not want to violate any rules, but don't see a way to delete it. Feel free to let me know how or delete this for me if an admin. Thank you and I apologize - still learning these forms!
  19. Update for you guys: She told me today she would take $220 K for it. This isn't amazing news as I am seeing this car posted for $220 K at places like CATS exotics and Lambo Texas etc... She is really at her end with this car, needs it gone, and $10 K isn't that much for her so I think if the Ebay bids up to even just $210 K I can convince her to lower the reserve down to that and accept it. I am being offered $205 K by dealers who think they can make $ off it so I assume this is a good deal for a private party. Just wanted to let everyone know. Feel free to bid on Ebay or you have my Email. Thanks!
  20. About the breaks thanks for informing me of that. I "learned" that from looking at a description of the same car (just a different number produced of the 150) Lamborghini Dallas is selling, but now I know they have a typo. Thanks for warm welcome everyone!
  21. Of course it posts upside down. Let's see if I turn it upside down on my comp if it's right-side here haha.
  22. Hello everyone I just joined and this is my first post ever! This forum is awesome. I am a 20 year old business student at Michigan State University (the car is located in East Lansing, Michigan). I have a friend here who is graduating in a few months and moving back to China - who cannot take her cars. She bought this Lamborghini in Ohio and put a few hundred very light miles on it and now she needs cash (cashier's check or wire) for it. These international students buy new & sell low-mile exotics when new models come out and when they graduate do not ship them back to their respective international homes - so they many times take hits (bad for them good for you and I) on selling them because they always want to sell quick. So periodically when her group of friends have exotics they need to sell, I will let you guys know! Now about this machine: - VIN #: ZHWGU7AJ9CLA11692 - #17 out of the 150 made - Alcantara black and Red bi-color fabric interior with Red contrast stitching - Not driven in rain, has never seen track time, and has never seen a highway! (believe it - she does not like them) - Add-ons (brought purchase price above MSRP, near $ 300 K): LowJack, extra-protective clear coat & more - Navigation + Multimedia system - Carbon Fiber everywhere: inside and outside, engine bonnet etc... - Carbon ceramic brakes with Red Calipers - Small scratch on driver's side front rim from brushing curb in parking space, shown in rim photo Just yesterday I put this up on Ebay for bids (will be live for 1 week) but I don't think link postings are condoned on here? Either search it on Ebay or Email [email protected] if you or an acquaintance is interested in the car! I am getting used to this forum so if I messed up any of the posting or violate any rules please correct me. Thanks!
