  1. Congrats on a great pick-up! I had looked ar 10 of these before picking up my 570 STS. I was so close to getting one, but I wound up getting a better relative deal on the STS.....plus I'm just more familiar with/comfortable in/ Lambos. Enjoy it in good health!!
  2. Awesome Josh! You will love it!! I was in Reno all week on business and haven't driven mine anymore. I'll pick it up tomorrow from the clear bra shop and drive it a bunch this weekend.
  3. It's been raining here the last few days so I don't have any additional seat time. I will update everyone as soon as I do. I don't find the ACR much worse than the SV on the street--on bigger bumps it definitely jumps more, but not unbearable.
  4. It's way better than my 2010 ACR in every way: fit and finish, performance, interior, chassis stiffness, etc. I've now put 300 mi on it--IMO it's definitely worth the premium. I'm pretty sure there will not ever be a car like this again.... Just to demonstrate the level of quality of this Gen V ACR--here is a shot of the door panel. In my eyes it looks just as good as the 2014 GT3 interior
  5. This is what it will look like......
  6. Congrats!! Great addition to a great collection!! Enjoy it in the best of health!!
  7. Thanks to everyone for the nice comments--really appreciate it! As I've said before, this is the only forum I post pic threads about my cars. I really enjoy sharing with the LP family. I am wrapping the roof in gloss black. Anyways---comparisons with the ZO6/ZO7: The cars are really two different propositions. It's been said before, but I can't think of a better way to describe the two cars personality/design statements: the ZO7 is a great street car that can be driven very fast on the track. But the ACR is truly a race car that just happens to be able to be driven on the street. The ACR is going to be primarily a track car for me. The ZO7 will be utilized on weekend mountain runs and for general around town stuff. The Z07 is a jack of all trades--the top comes off, it has every creature comfort and technology, the rev matching is fun, and it rides very well on the street. I had the Z07 at Road Atlanta last weekend and am going again with it this weekend since the ACR only has 170 mi on it and no clear bra yet. It's nice to have the ZO7 as a back up! It's still a blast at the track! But I'm confident I will be several seconds faster in the ACR!
  8. Well, the car finally arrived last Fri after sitting at he factory almost a month. Car shipped without the front lip extension, but that should be here by Mon. I've driven it about 100mi so far--it is firmly sprung for street driving but not unbearable (at least on the relatively smooth GA roads). Interior is miles ahead of my 2010 ACR and I'm impressed with the overall fit and finish. Here's a few pics: I see my iPad has rotated the pics again--if someone can fix that for me please do!
  9. Oh! I guess they're both doing them? I'll be interested to hear your thoughts!!
  10. What is Woodhouse charging for that setup? May want to do it to mine....
  11. Competition blue FTW! Mine does not have the stripes though... CONGRATS!!!!!
  12. Oh! LOL! I ordered the competition blue which is a standard color. I ordered it at the beginning of August and it was built by the 18th of Oct. it's been through QC and was ready to ship about 2 weeks ago--been waiting for a Reliable truck to head this way ever since! I'll definitely post pics/thoughts as soon as I get it!! If you haven't seen it, there's a cool "how it's made" video on the viper--it's amazing to see the process of completely "hand building" the car--gave me a whole new appreciation for the car!
  13. Mine should be here any day! I've got track days the last 2 weekends of Nov to try it out. Can't wait!!!
  14. Love it!! Very nice pick up!! Enjoy!!!
  15. Truly special! Thanks for sharing!! Enjoy it!!!!
  16. I had the 3rd Aventador in the US back in Oct 2011--I only kept it 3 months. To me, it was the least involving and " Lambo-like" of the Lambos I've owned. I'm more about the driving experience than the look, so I went on my 670SV search and never looked back. Good luck with whatever you decide!!
  17. I'm glad it worked out Christian! I did not mislead you-I guarantee you will love it! (or I'll buy it from you). It will be fun to get the two of them together. On another note--seems like we have similar tastes in cars!!! Weird.... Congrats again buddy! And well done, as always, Roy!!!!!
  18. Comgrats!!!!! Love your color choice! The 570 is my favorite Lambo overall to drive!!! Enjoy !!
  19. It is the Vancouver car according to Carfax and Autocheck. Of course, no reported accidents since the car was repaired with cash by owner--further testament to why I never rely on Carfax and always get a PPI. Carfax is only good to figure out where the car was titled. The dealership website gives the impression that this is an accident free car by referring to it as "Carfax certified"-- it will be interesting to see if they disclose it hit a telephone pole if pressed with the issue..... They are asking $459K by the way
  20. Roy--so Tommy's old car left the East coast back to the West coast?
  21. Fashion gray looks amazing on the 991 GT3 also!!!
  22. A whole new level of awesomeness!! Congrats Aaron!! I'm sure you will enjoy it to its fullest!!
  23. LOL at the bumper sticker! Nice "soccer mom mobile" for sure!!!
  24. I hope someone shoots him with an arrow and lets him suffer in the wild overnight--then he'd know what the animals he's hunting for no reason feel like. fcuking douche bag
