  1. In the kitchen, where they should be.
  2. Let's not offend seriously retarded people by comparing them to this low-life piece of shit. Retarded people at least have some sense of morality. I'd like to sue the hospital where she was born for medical malpractice.

    Lotto

I kinda feel bad for the girl. She bought a lottery ticket for a $380 million jackpot, saw she won and got all excited. Then found out she's splitting the jackpot with another ticket.... $190 million. Then lumpsum .... $100 million. Then taxes .... $80 million. Then *possibly* having to split that with her low-life [ex]husband .... $40 million. Not that $40M is anything to scoff at, it's just a far cry from the $380 million that was on the signs everywhere.
  4. No, I'd guess he had/has some romantic vision of himself as a champion of the truth, and so therefor he'd want to be around to be lauded by everyone for exposing the evils of the world. There are lots of "mostly-normal" people that can snap and do something like this, then realize how fucked they are, and kill themselves. Then there are the people like Loughner who are thoroughly screwed up top to bottom, front to back, who think that they are doing something "good" and that they will be a hero. In fact, I'd say that the prospect of a hi-profile court case providing him a venue to espouse his beliefs may just be his ultimate end-goal. Interesting to see in his YouTube profile his extensive use of past tense.
  5. You can check it out here where it was posted the other day
  6. Kid gets old skool ass whoopin' by father for acting hard on Facebook http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/vide...tdQvDJLQy55M05q
  7. 300M people in the US. I have no doubt that we use 7 times as much power as the Chinese. But I don't think that's a bad thing; if you look at GDP/capita, USA is at $47k and China is at $7k, so we use that 7x as much power to produce 7x as much output per person.
  8. Porsche Cayenne would seem more than capable. Or perhaps an older (pre-1970) American vehicle like a Ford pick-up, Chrysler sedan.... maybe not very spectacular, but certainly can take a beating and the fact that parts and the ability to fix an older American car are easy to find would be a huge benefit. Last thing I'd want on such a trip would be to break down and be 1240 miles from the nearest authorized service center.
  9. LOW and UNDER paid workers in a capitalist system are GENERALLY those that have no desire or work ethic to achieve more. There are exceptions, but they are not suppressed by the governing regime, only suppressed by their own ineffectualities. And the mention of "Ideal Communism" is rather funny to me.... I am mystified as to what exists in the concept of communism that could be described as ideal.
  10. Congrats! I think every man needs someplace he can shoot, burn, or explode shit to his heart's content. I enjoy a little retreat up in the Pocono Mts of PA for such activities, but I suppose Indiana shall suffice.
  11. Did anyone enjoy the irony of seeing Eliot Spitzer and then a minute later the mention of high-priced prostitutes?
  12. I was once told by someone in the business to "Buy the shittiest house in the best area. It's a lot easier to fix up one house than an entire neighborhood." Makes sense.
  13. I have to imagine there are certain countries--in the Middle East, maybe South America or Asia--where someone with the means to buy a $2M car would also have the means to have it's legality overlooked. It sure would be nice to get some action shots, or feedback from drivers on just how well it performs.
  14. There's no chance that will ever happen.... a male robot would have to be made by women or gays; women are clearly too stupid to build it, and gays would much rather be doing interior design.
  15. In Land Speed Record racing (Bonneville and other events run by SCTA or ECTA), they have tiered systems for both cars and drivers. In order for the run to be attempted for a certain sped, both the car and driver must meet the licensing and technical standards for that speed bracket (usually 50 mph stages... ie 100-150, 150-200, 200-250). As the popularity of standing-mile runs grows, it will be more prevalent to see inexperienced drivers taking unproven vehicles to the edge of the performance envelope; this is a recipe for disaster. With the amount of money being spent on modifying performance aspects of the cars in the standing-mile events, I should think it to be no big deal to mandate cages, fire suppression, SFI rated seats and harnesses, even HANS devices, depending on the speeds capable of the car. One advantage the standing-mile racers have is the general lack of containing walls, as the most severe injuries at races result from the abrupt change in direction when collided with walls. Nonetheless, it'd be best to see the participants make a push for safety regulations.
  16. What astounds me in this saga is how Peak has taken all this BS in stride... composed, patient, and noble. Even still he is not casting insults and ad hominem attacks, just showing frustration at the lack of professionalism of this other person. Peak's handling of everything speaks volumes to his strength of character, it's great that he's a part of this community. (I'm an eternal optimist, always looking for a bright spot regardless of how shitty the situation.)
  17. I find that a lot of people like this hide behind the guise of the First Amendment, demanding that people "respect their right to free speech", while they consistently offer no respect to others. They're selfish and disgusting animals.
  18. I always found it ironic that the guy had a house with 17 bedrooms yet never seemed to have any loved ones in his life to use them. Sad, really.
  19. Favre responds at presser: "I'm not getting into that. I've got my hands full with the Jets." I don't know, maybe it's me, but I feel like using the phrase "hands full" in this situation is a rather poor choice.
  20. If I had the money to afford this, I'd also have a Phantom Drophead for the sunny days. You guys are crazy. This is a hundred times more imposing than a CL could ever hope to be.
