If it is a bad battery it is $200 fix, I have Allstate as they have alot of resellers near me. If it is a bad alternator you can buy a rebuilt one for about $400 from .......(forgot name for now, will change later) but dealer charges 2k for it. Tricky part is to find someone competent to do it, plenty of them in California, delaers wont install a rebuilt unit. These cars are solid, I have had mine for a long time and over 30k miles and only major issue was clutch (first 1k miles) and this alternator/ maybe a few batteries here and there.

How many of those have a youtube presence? Under 30? Most likely less... How many currently own a GT? even less... How many hits do they have? Not to get your hopes high but Im sure you already ran those #s.... On a side note and be honest, how many curls did you do before you filmed the GT film?!

I test drove the X today, I saw a few videos online and I was really excited about it. The technology is amazing, I wouldn't consider any model besides the X because they are small and I am not. I fit comfortably in the X, it is fast 0 to 60 but after that it was just OK.... I miss the extra pull my other cars have after 70 mph. If I was carrying my family in this SUV I wouldnt care for the extra speed and would not get the Ludicous package, I do love the high safety rating though. 230 miles is still too low for a charge, once technology is there at 500 miles per charge I will be all over it. Auto driving was amazing but it is mainly good for freeways. I would love ot rent one for a week and go for a cross country ride. You can only drive 3-4 hours at a time then pull over for a while... Charging stations nationwide is impressive but I love the grunts of all my twin turbos and v12s. It is priceless! I speced mine online, it came out to 140k. There are soo many other options at that price point.

I found a company a few hundred miles away to make new seats for an offroad buggy. I am a complete newbie to this, how hard is it to make it for an older lambo and is it possible for newer lambos ( I am assuming they have air bags)? Mine were diamond stitched, heated and I had the option for alcantera, good pricing. Turn around was 3 weeks. I am considering having my entire interior upgraded to LP specs.

From false rape claims and drawn out 4 year+ court cases (several hundred thousand in lawyer fees all said and done- she wanted a paid settlement to orignally drop the case but DA wouldnt drop it) , to false pregnacy claims with extortion fees and to the few one who said "I am keeping the baby." I have seen alot, it wasnt good. Funny thing was one one of the extortion case was with a paid "regular" hooker. These hawks are getting ballsier, smarter and they seem to always get their way in the end. But on the flip side, some of the dumb guys dont get it and do the same thing over again, go figure.

I bought the Seenheiser i80 headphone EricLV mentioned ( the cheaper $300 version). Not a fan, had a problem finding the right earpiece setting they kept falling out. They are sitting in a drawer somewhere. I bought these amazon ones (bluetooth, wireless) absolutely love them. They sound good and the battery last along time. The hooks they provide fit perfectly in my ear. I am seeing alot of "begging" by youtube bloggers to get in line for this. Is this the new trend? Has buying a new car really got to this level? Does a person have to spend hundreds of hours , get millions of followers, almost shed their pride/dignity to be the chosen one and jump through the hoops for a manufacturer to sell them their new car, which will most likely be played out in 2 years tops?! We have to beg/jump through hoops to spend $400k on a car? Really? yes it looks good but for god sakes a modded 80k GTR can beat the shit out of it and they are asking a $400k price! fcuk that, Ford keep you car! At 400k I can buy a used Aventador and the new GTR and have the biggest smile on my face. Sucks what happened, thankfully he is ok. Bottom line it is a car and car be repaired Veneno or Pagani. From my own experience I have learned to disassociate anything that happens to any of my toys, life is easier that way. Lambo was bumped into, Bentley got keyed on a few occasions, someone sat on my Lambo and scratched it. I put cameras in all my cars to prevent it but still stress worthy. I stressed AlOT about it and I wasnt a happy person about it.An acquaintances new Rolls got keyed at the Steak house, nothing anyone can do about it. Been there/done that and I stressed alot about it ,yes it is absolutely no comparison to a million dollar car but fundamentals are the same, it is a car I love. So I told myself to drive any nice car I will give myself a 1k allowance yearly to take care of these nuisances,, I feel much better about it now. Bumps,dents, scratches dont bother me as much anymore. Bottom line, learn to enjoy our toys. They will get scratched up a bit, but that is the cost to play. Add to your insurance premium a hater premium of $1,000 . You will sleep better at night.

From my experience putting runs together in "OC" as you put it, it is a MAJOR undertaking. We did plenty of runs back in the day but if someone "Eliot"' didnt spend ALOT of time putting it together it wouldnt have ever happen. So, if you want events ( as I and MANY other members do) set it up yourself.... Btw, met you at the LP track event....Bryan did an imense amount of work to set that up so that should tell you how much work goes into an event with flaky people... BH llambo was giving away free hotels and track passes to setup an event... Bottom line, it is A LOT of work....

A bit off the topic but have been doing alot of Harley runs lately. With a bike provides a feel really incomparable to any car even convertible. One of the runs was from Socal to North Cali, Oregon through Nevada in 5 days. One of my best trips. This year heading up to Canada from Socal with a group and on my itinerary is a partial solo West coast to East cost run. I am sure other members here have their license, I would highly, highly suggest a MC run. If you dont own a bike, Harley will rent them out. Another perk is meeting fellow riders you meet in the middle of nowhere when riding a bike. I do a bit offroading as well in a SXS , we plan on doing a cross desert run grand canyon,etc , will update when that happens. Point being, you dont need a 200k+ plus car to have a phenomenal run. Get out and enjoy life.
