Awesome cars, thanks for sharing....and that 917

I liked the idea of a Tesla SUV, but those ridiculous doors kill it for me. The exterior design looks very ordinary, and yet those doors are going to cause a spectacle everywhere. I have absolutely zero time to talk to or be bothered by random strangers when I am out in my SUV....

I know people who are getting a deal on their SV. Its all about their relationship with their dealer. This potentially happens on any car regardless of price or how fast it sells out. I'm excited for Lamborghini and their success, and anyone who gets an SV should be very happy with it! I agree, the 918 spyder and the way Porsche treats those customers is next level.

Looks good in black. I checked one out a few weeks ago, I found it easy to get in and out of and very roomy. Of course I am used to those types of doors on the Mclarens I previously owned. Congrats!

The $49k paint to sample cost on a 918 has nothing to do with with it being a Lamborghini color. All PTS colors were at least $49k unless someone had already paid the $25k feasibility cost (which is part of the $49k) to see if it was viable to be painted on a 918. I agree Lamborghini paint is amazing!

Its a common misnomer so thats why I mentioned it. Unfortunately its just 7 years for service, which is still cool. You can still extend the warranty as ts640 mentioned, but its a bit pricey for the additional 4 years.

So that's why I'm so addicted to the 918!

Pretty much all manufacturers at this point have to be testing some sort of hybrid/battery technology. Adding the electric motors in the correct manner (like they have done on the 918) makes for a very fun and special car. The instant torque will rip your face off and it makes naturally aspirated cars feel like they have turbo lag.
