As we have seen most of the time those guys are sucidal and shoot themselfes after they have done killed enough people. So they are not generic criminals but simply insane. I have my doubt´s that your plan would work in this special case.

Yeah you can see some witnesses trying to help the cop but they are beeing pushed away too. Some of them gave the Hummer driveres their phone numbers and adresses only to want them back after they had a brief talk with the police.

The german video paints a completly different picture. According to it the guys got their tickets and went on their way when the driver in the front somehow ofended a policeman. They chased him down and immediately used pepperspray while the other policeman had his gun already pulled out and was threatening the rest of the convoy. As it seems the guy panicked and ran over the policeman that pulled in front of him to block his way. They than start to shoot at him about 14 times in total after he was already out and had his hands up ready to surrender. During this he is at some point trying to help the policeman on the ground(the only one) but is beeing stoped. Cop is dead guy is awaiting trial(cops have to be lousy with guns!?) while beeing kept in a police hospital. The rest of the Hummer guys were threatened while leaving the country. All according to the german vid.

This thread is full of imho forced logical examples. I really don´t get them at all. In the end you can bend and twist everything so that it helps your cause. Some people should try to see this from both sides of the spectrum.

EXACTLY! And the main reason why I am leaning more towards anti gun then pro. Here we have a person who was actually perfectly fine to own a weapon(or so it seems) yet she didn´t think of the unstable person in her household and had the gun easily accesible to him. Hadn´t she had a weapon had all of this happend? Maybe, maybe not.....

Yeah and I´m happy that I don´t need top fear for my childrens life when they´re at school.... Seeing that the Swiss have a way higher percentage of gun owners and that such incidents there seem almost non existent one has to wonder wether it is actually the US society in some region that is the problem rather then guns per se. Anyay I don´t see much good in owning guns but to each his own.

I just noticed that they actually PUSHED him in! Although the Shark itself seems to be harmless(basking shark) they´d be dead if that was me!
