I must say I've never encountered an a-hole cop. I am always very polite, and they respond in kind. I've gotten off with a warning most times. I have no sympathy for those that act like pricks or worse, try to run, and then get tazed and beat. Granted, I'm your quintesential WASP, so I can't say what I'd encounter if I were another ethnic group. Cops are just people that have an often shitty job. I get pissed at my job all the time, and I don't have to worry about getting shot.

Amen. I went to the 10th, and even those that weren't douchebags in HS were now douchebags. The couple people I cared what happened to, I still see and talk to regularly. The rest, F-em. I haven't been to one since, and my 25th just went by.

I wonder what the final sale price will be. My old yellow one last sold for around mid-$70ks at auction, but then appeared at a dealer back east for $150k. I haven't seen it since. I really want another Islero. I was wishing, though not hopeful, that we would see these prices again. Makes me wonder where the CT market is now.

It's the same car. It's been floating around the San Diego dealers for a few years. I never saw it, so I can't speak to the condition, but it had the odometer "replaced" at some point, so it is a "story" car now. How much that means to the potential buyer is up to them. Just keep in mind it will make it harder to sell down the road. Still, it's a great looking car. I really like the color and wheels.

I call BS. An $80k car is not salvaged because a bicycle hits it, even if the rider were Topcarbon at full sprint. I don't question your motivation for trying to find a CT while the market is down, but it's not down that far. My old CT that burned down sold for more than that at auction in the current market.
