  1. Roy is like the Dukes from Trading Places, except he's going to corner the market on SVs. Nicely done. Let's see some pics of the three together when you get the latest up to SEA. Congrats!
  2. A huge thanks to all the Vets past, present, and future. We appreciate your sacrafices in defending our country. Kevin, the D's are looking great. I'm in the beginning stages of trying to add another Monterey Blue Lambo to the Valley. If I do, we'll have to get a photo shoot with them all. See you around the campus.
  3. That is the question of the hour/century. From what others are saying, it seems like the cars at this dealer are hostages. It can't be good for them to be just sitting around. They need to be driven at least once in a while to get the fluids and mechanicals moving. I hope these folks are at least changing the fluids on an annual basis. I'd really like to rescue the MB car but doubt that will happen from what I'm seeing. I'll start the wheels turning this week and who knows? Thanks for all of the heads up everyone!
  4. Different cars. The interior in Roy's car has more red and no P1 seats. Both very nice cars though. The Mac looks really good in white.
  5. I'm surprised KS sold the SV as well. At least it stayed stateside and is in an enthusiasts hands. I see these cars at least holding steady if not going up in value. There are already a couple of Aventador's selling in the same price range. Both great cars for different reasons but SV will remain more collectible IMO. By the way, the one on eBay looks great but for me Orange, VI, or MB would be the bomb.
  6. Maybe I will use some Jedi mind tricks on them. "Sell me this car you must, $200,000 the price will be."
  7. Thanks for the intel. It is a shame. Looks like such a beautiful car. I am willing to go up to 220 because of what this car is to me. 250, no way. I have not spoken with them as I would probably have the dealer I bought my 2 Gallardos from contact them. Maybe a little more leverage dealer to dealer, I don't know. I know 220 seems a lot to some on here but this is a pretty rare car. As long as all issues are resolved with a PPI, I'd probably buy it. I have my doubts from all I've read but it's worth the college try.
  8. I've been eyeing this thing for over a year now. Just a great looking Murci and in the perfect color to me. I have read the other threads on here regarding the car. I am aware of the high oil pressure reading in a couple of the pics. This could be something as simple as a sensor or sending unit. Either way, it would need to be fixed before taking delivery. I also know the seller wants a premium but what would be a good price in your guys/gals opinion. I am willing to pay a very fair price if the car checks out in person and passes a PPI at the local Lambo dealer with all issues addressed. Fire away and thanks! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lamborghini-Murcie...%3D390964810131
  9. Huge congrats! You deserve it after a wait like that. It looks great. Although a few have given their impressions, would like to hear your thoughts as compared to the G. I was thinking about a Murcielago but after driving the Huracan a couple of weeks ago I pretty much have decided to order one next spring. I love my LP560-2 but the H is on another level to me. The more I see it, the more I like it. Enjoy the new ride and more pics when you get it home.
  10. Congrats on the world's best street legal race car...I mean P1. Also, huge props to Kris and you for setting this up. This would make for a great Top Gear episode. Well, the British version anyway--but I digress. Like others who have chimed in here, I have little doubt as to the outcome. I mean no disrespect towards Kris and his Huayra. Pagani builds an awesome machine. It is arguably one of the most beautiful cars ever made. However, the Huayra appears out of it's element here. While the two cars may be close in power (depending on what has been done under the bonnet of the Huayra), I seriously doubt the Pagani has the suspension and aero needed to tackle the track you two have chosen. Or most tracks for that matter. And we all know the P1 has this in spades. It was purpose made. The P1 and you will emerge as victors. Either way, good luck to both of you! I'm looking forward to the footage of this event. As an aside, I would be interested to hear your take on the LaF vs. the P1 once you've had some seat time in both. I'm going to guess that they'll be close in performance in a straight line but the P1 will be the track king. Enjoy both cars!
  11. Congrats! The Huracan looks great in about any color. But the tri coats (verde, arancio, giallo) bring the car to another level. I live in Phoenix and hope to see you at C&C this winter with your new acquisition. The more I see these, the more I want one. Going to drive one in a couple of weeks. That may seal the deal.
  12. Your Huracan looks great. Congrats! Love the color and the interior. Are the black wheels a factory option yet? They look so good with Orange. Enjoy. I'm with the others, the more I see this car, the more I like it. I wasn't sure about the back end either. But pics do not do it justice. It has definitely grown on me and to my eye kind of pays homage to the Miura. Lambo has another hit on its hands.
  13. Hmmm...will have to see in person. Not a huge fan so far but maybe it's better live. It is good to see Lamborghini jumping in the GT segment. On another note: Lamborghini, please put this power train or version of it in the Huracan Superleggera. Would be bad ass to have a hybrid SL pumping out 750-800 HP. While you're at it, make a hybrid Aventador SV producing 900-1000HP. Just one man's thoughts.
  14. Looking forward to more pics and a review. Any thoughts of blue calipers to echo the 50th. Congrats on an awesome pair of Lambo's!
  15. Looks great! Congrats to the new owner. Will be interesting to hear the driving impressions once people have had some time with them.
  16. Pretty sure that is a gentleman who goes by Market top OTF. He might even be on here. He bought the car from Roy about 4 years ago. It belonged to one of the higher ups with the Sacramento Kings. The headrests in the car have the team logo embroidered on them. Nice car! Oh Yeah, it's Monterey Blue.
  17. I agree about Giovanni. We've become good friends through our dealings. Unfortunately, he is no longer at Lambo NB. He moved to Porsche a few months ago. Just saw him Saturday. Doing very well as you can imagine with the way he treats people. So, I've talked to both Sebastian and Nick and will deal with them. Both cool guys and very accommodating as well. I wouldn't mind living in OC but we are in Phoenix for now. Will probably move out there in time. Lived in Phoenix all my life and really like it. But you can't argue with the weather you guys enjoy out there. I do get out there several times a year and it would be fun to meet some you from L Power.
  18. Guys, Thanks for all of the responses. I've already found a few cars that have caught my eye. A '09 orange at Lambo NB and another orange at Lambo Dallas. There is also a Monterey Blue in Florida that has been for sale for a while. From research, it appears they're in no hurry to sell it. Although they do stock some nice inventory. I will definitely drive before buying as I've never been in one. I've driven an Aventador but I'm sure that's a whole different animal. At this point, I'm open to e-gear but a manual would be the icing on the cake. Luxeous, thanks for the generous offer! Much appreciated. Lambo NB has offered a test drive in their LP640. Will probably go over and try it out when my schedule permits in the next couple of weeks. They have treated me very we'll in my past dealings with them. Looking forward to the experience.
  19. K, could you pm your number or message me thru work and I'll call you minyan a. Thanks. Thanks also everyone for the input. Keep it coming.
  20. I have a dilemma everyone. I currently have '13 Lp560-2 manual. I love the car but must admit the Murci has grown on me. Was at Lambo NB Saturday and saw a gorgeous '09 LP640 in the showroom. Got me thinking that maybe its time to experience the V12. Don't get me wrong, the Gallardo is a great car but I'm on my third one and there's something about those doors going up and the rawness of the Murci. As a background, I don't tend to track my cars and mostly drive them for fun on the weekends (car runs, etc.) So, I'm looking for input from those that have owned both or the Murci and their experience with the car. I know these questions have been asked before but I'm on the fence and would appreciate your 2 cents. Was it worth the move? Are they as reliable as a Gallardo? How does the E-Gear compare to an LP Gallardo? How's the Gas Mileage? (just messin' with you) Other observations??? This is a hard choice as the car I have now is a stick, which is just a rarity on an exotic these days. I will most likely be back in an E-Gear car given the inventory out there and the colors I want. I'm not sure I should let the LP560 go as these manual cars may become more desriable in the future. But I definitely have the itch for a V12--specifically in orange, verde ithica, or monterrey blue. To be or not to be???
  21. Yep. Me too. Always will be--especially on this day! Godspeed to the victims and their families.
  22. If it's a Fiero under there, he may not even need help getting the fire started.
  23. Both cars look sick. The Diablo is just on another level. They have aged so well--timeless cars to me. Enjoy them! Great work by the photographer...
  24. The Double D's look great Kev. Couldn't resist....Congrats again. The hard work you've put in has paid off. The roadster is awesome but, like the others, I'm partial to the SV and the Monterrey Blue. I'll be at C&C Saturday if you're off.
