Andrew R. Report post Posted March 23, 2005 AWESOME THREAD!! I will edit and add to this post as I come across more... 009460302 SHOCK ABSORBER FOR ENGINE HOOD Napa part#: BK.819-5519 ($19.99, which is about half of oem cost) The Napa part is a 1/4" longer than the oem, I have had them on for a few months, seems fine so far. If anyone has an exact length cross ref, let me know though! The front hood shock is a lambo different part#, which is 009469318, they appear to be exactly the same however... maybe its softer or something, I dont know. monahan_z Report post Posted March 23, 2005 Hey this is great Guys. I think it will be extremely usefull for many of us in the future. How does this site feel if I also collect and put up a page with a table/photograph of this info on the lamboweb.com site. It can sit there for all of us to quickly get to in the future. Would make acknowlegements etc. of course.
L Diablo Report post Posted March 23, 2005 I'll take credit for the idea :) John I think it would be killer if you could do that... Would be nice if we could continually update it as we go along catagorize it by, say, running gear, electronics, or whatever.. Or even alpabetical...? It would be a direct reference without "chatter" like I'm doing now...
monahan_z Report post Posted March 23, 2005 Not sure I can do user direct updates. I look at this site (and others) every day so I think I will catch most. Also users can send me an e-mail and/or pm. I am busy for next few days but will take a stab at it over weekend.
L Diablo Report post Posted March 24, 2005 What I meant is a way you could update it, not the actual users.. Might be more of a job than you bargained for. Always getting updates... Here's another one: 2WD Diablo - Spark Plugs - Stock = Champion A59G or A59GC (Dealer $50/ea) NGK Iridium IX 4772 - or Bosch 7700. Your choice about $7/ea. How about wiper blades, tiers, lights, altenator, starter motor, AC compressor... there must be 10's of things people have found out. Do share them with your fellow drivers. abolfaz Report post Posted April 29, 2005 I don't have part numbers, but a fiat key blank will work if you don't want to buy a spare key blank from Lambo.
monahan_z Report post Posted April 29, 2005 Thanks Abolfaz, I will try and find out more. Are key blanks for all models the same. Does anybody out there know.
abolfaz Report post Posted April 30, 2005 My experience was with making keys for the 2001 6.0 and my old 88.5 countach, I am going to assume the murci keys are the same up to 04 as well.
adamlotus Report post Posted April 30, 2005 champion 59 c will work napa for 5 bucks a plug.
monahan_z Report post Posted April 30, 2005 For the above blank key info that abolfaz pointed out, does anybody know if the blank keys for countach = diablos = Murcielago = Gallardo cars. ie. are they all different blanks
abolfaz Report post Posted May 1, 2005 If I remember correctly the G-car and the 2004 and up Murci uses VW/Audi Key. The pre 2004 murci, diablos and countach I'm pretty sure all share the same key therefore making the Fiat blank the correct blank.
