That google is planning to get rid of Hard disks and wants to put everything online on servers so you should have easy acces to your files (if you are connected to the internet, which can´t be the case everytime)? I´m not a fan of this... who comes up with these stuff at google, seems they want to have all the information in the world... it scares me.
