emilio Report post Posted September 28, 2011 with all the discussions on diablos lately.... i think we could have a thread with all members diablos i start with mine 1997 euro diablo roadster in blue scuro met, cream interior with blue piping first registered in Italy as a factory car (first owner is automobili lamborghini spa, you can see in the pic Di Capua delivering it to its 2nd italian owners ) i bought it 3 years ago from US-UK diablo, lambo power member it was in good conditions but i had it repainted in original PPG color, engine, gearbox and diff were overhauled, interior was restored and a correct Alpine unit put in the car i had some minor upgrades: SS ANSA SPORT exhaust and cat by pass (no cats at all, diablo cats are known for catastrofic failures!) ps: i still like the countach more, but diablo is to me last of old school lambo and a GREAT looking car i may sell it one day but only to get a GT, SE30 or SV ...aventador is twice as fast but i do not care....diablo looks 10 times better after 20 years! Great car Emilio, I remember you got a good deal at the time on this one... it's indeed in excellent condition and has so much more passion in it than the later models including the Aventador !! Last week my 6.0 got smoked in the straight line. This was on the test-track during a charity event by a 599 GTO... and I couldn't care less about it... The Diablo has its own soul, the 599... ah well.. it's fast and powerful but compared against the Diablo it very much lacks both in the looks and experience department. cowchaser Report post Posted September 28, 2011 very nice is it an US version? Yes it is.. but of course I deleted the secondary cats which both made the car hold back and at the same time made it super silent..
