emanon Report post Posted November 18, 2011 what worries me about CGT is miles have to stay down, no luggage space, no front lift KW and RUF both make kits to retrofit lift systems to the CGT. I believe KW will even do a 4 wheel setup. The front KW kit will cost you a Steel AP Rubberclad. +/- a few bucks.

Bad for resale but aston martin racing green would be epic!

andyling Report post Posted November 19, 2011 CGT as most people said. but I am guessing Cheapest option will be the Fax machine? It has a fuel economy of a corolla~!
FXRcR1 Report post Posted November 19, 2011 Like most have said, CGT for resale assurance and SLR for ease to live with. The question is how much are you really going to drive it? Personally I think the CGT really has that wow factor you want in an exotic... and while the SLR is every bit as exotic, most people that aren't car fanatics don't notice it in the same way. pockmark Report post Posted November 19, 2011 458 spider is also a good option if you have a dealer buddy that can get you the car at MSRP. Resale should be fine if you don't hold on to it for too long.
Smash Boy Report post Posted November 19, 2011 CGT is purist pick, but like many have said it might not be the car for you. BTW, if you are considering SLR roadster, SLS roadster might be worth a look too.

SV-N-IT Report post Posted November 21, 2011 thx guys. im stilll 50/50 with CGT vs SLR roadster lol i love the bentley SS but that is more of a badass DD. the SLS is nice but at 200k today im looking at probably 100k 2 years from now the SLR i found is black but that yellow would be nice with some 21"/20" wheels! soup Report post Posted November 21, 2011 CGT is such a wonderful car, if you get one you'll be my hero. Just don't know if it's appropriate as a DD, I would go for an AM DBS/DB9 volante or Bentley Continental SS, Maserati Granturismo S (if it's available as convertible).
