Our 002. The Worlds oldest existing Ferrari, Winner of the 1947 Turin GP, recently restored in Modena awaiting her numbers to be hand painted as per template.

Is 002 a production number? If so, what happened to 001?

 

 

Chassis number.

 

Third Ferrari built first two were scrapped and are no more.

Jim, would this car be considered mroe or less valuable then your p3/4 or 412P (i think you have a 412...)

 

 

Hard to value these cars but our 412P would probably sell for more today. Someday who knows.

Which year were the first ones built? 1946? I would imagine just after the war? and what year is yours...nice car!

They were all built in 47.
