I know that may sound harsh to some but its truly amazing. In 45 minutes it stops the dizziness and lethargic feelings of a hangover. If your top it off with 2 Excedrin caps you will be golden. My friend here on the beach is swearing by this. http://www.drinkmercy.com/ Its a mixer that stops the hangover before it starts while your drinking. It comes in a can shaped like a redbull and you mix it straight into whatever. Last night I saw people ordering vodka/mercy a few times. I haven't got into it b/c it has like 16g of sugar per can. I watch the sugar intake so its an issue for me. The other extreme remedy im going to try is http://revivme.com/therapies - this is an clinic that does IV treatments to kick the hangovers with saline and vitamins. Assman Report post Posted April 8, 2012 Lol, good follow up to the what you drinking thread. Here's some easy help. 1. Sober up before you sleep 2. Drink 8-12 oz of water between each drink. 3. Take 800 mg ibuprofen before sleeping. If you can't do 1 do 2 and 3. If you can't do 2 try to drink as much water before you sleep as possible and do 3. 3 alone will work in many cases of regular drunkenness, 2 and 3 will work even if you get moderately wasted. If you get so drunk that 2 and 3 don't work and often have to resort to the methods you mention, especially getting an IV. Well you might have an issue. I need to find a doctor that will give me some again. One of the best medicines I have ever taken. I typically lose 20-30 lbs when i take it for 3-4 months too. Nurofen before bed if I am in a state that I can handle the packaging, then a huge bottle of water, in the morning, weapons grade strength coffee, water and if I can stomach it a full English breakfast, preferably made by someone else. Another thing I sometimes do is drink a gatorade before I go to sleep and/or one when I wake up, but if that doesn't work, an ibuprofen will do the trick. Take a look at this: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10649673 if your worried about it possibly increasing the chance of more damage to your liver, I'd take a look at the alcohol your washing it down with instead. If your a moderate-heavy drinker cutting out the advil wont save your liver, cutting down on the drinking will have the most significant impact to your liver's health.
