RobberBaron Report post Posted February 20, 2017 Hello everyone, Normally I would have thrown this in the Murcielago section, but I have a family member who is looking to purchase this Murcielago on Tuesday and they asked if I could tap into the LamboPower world and see if anyone knows anything about this car. Apparently it was traded in, along with an LP640 roadster, on an Aventador in Miami. The previous owner was out of Massachusetts and everything is stock aside from the rims (I know, not everyone's flavor. I am reserving judgment until I see them in person). Clean carfax too. Anyway, I will throw the VIN and some pics below, but any info is much appreciated! Cheers, RobberBaron Basic Info: 18,000 miles All stock aside from rims 2002 model year No paintwork VIN: ZA9BC10U42LA12221 Pics:

Chipster Report post Posted February 20, 2017 If true, leaves my trust in salespeople very slim. I was emailing with salesman as late as yesterday with request for info and was told it would be provided on Tuesday once the inspection was complete. Oh well. The sales guy literally just emailed me asking for info on my trade lol. So who the hell knows

So who the hell knows Unbelievable......I just texted the sales guy with an offer and that's when he told me the car was sold Sat. Playing all sides in case deal falls thru. I have his cell if you want to speak to him. He told me the new owner also has a 2003 3 pedal Murci.....
Chipster Report post Posted February 20, 2017 Lol oh well. I was emailing with David. I'm on the lookout for a manual Murcie or an 01 6.0 for the right deal.

Chipster Report post Posted February 20, 2017 What was the asking price?
emissary Report post Posted February 20, 2017 140 Wow, that was a great price for that car...given the difficulty in finding a 6-speed manual in Verde Ithica, I'm surprised it wasn't higher.
DarrinB Report post Posted February 20, 2017 many salesman use the "its sold" tactic when its really not. they do it to try to reduce your bargaining power and not negotiate off the asking price.
FrankD Report post Posted February 20, 2017 many salesman use the "its sold" tactic when its really not. they do it to try to reduce your bargaining power and not negotiate off the asking price. Agreed......but when they tell you the buyer paided in full and is flying in tomorrow to pu car......probally a done deal. If it fell thru, I'd be worried about something seriously wrong with it to make the buyer back out when they saw/drove it.......I would assume that one of the salesman would break rank and sell the thing..... RobberBaron Report post Posted February 20, 2017 Sheldon, if it is sold, hopefully your family snagged it. Ya, my folks are the ones who have it. The 03 Murcie that they are talking about is mine. I assume they meant under the same family when they said that. My folks have a Gallardo, but not a Murcie. I know they said they had a bunch of interested people. It seems like all of the sales people were not on the same page.

RobberBaron Report post Posted February 20, 2017 Congrats?! Congrats.......I asked my salesman if you bought the car. Lol Lol, I will pass the good wishes on to them. It is not mine, one 03 Murcie is enough for me, though VI is a badass color. Mine is still straight piped so at least I still get to be the loudest around KY lol. RobberBaron Report post Posted February 22, 2017 Nice greenie! My folks flew down to get it today. Hopefully all goes smoothly for them and it is back in KY in no time. It will always be Christmas time when I drive with them between the VI and my Rosso Andromeda.

It will always be Christmas time when I drive with them between the VI and my Rosso Andromeda. That is awesome. Great car and price too, I doubt they will lose a dime on that one if they ever sell it. I didn't even know they had VI Murci's in 02'. Best of luck to them! bWiLKINS Report post Posted February 22, 2017 Man thats a good looking car. I would just be swapping out those wheels for LP640 wheels in black and its perfect. They got it for a good price too assuming it doesnt need anything major but it sounds (and looks) like it s a very clean car for an 02. Griza Report post Posted February 22, 2017 Congrats on completing the Christmas colors lol. First day of rain here in Miami in quite awhile, too bad they are picking it up on such a shitty day. Looks to be in beyond mint condition, great pick up. Are they driving it back to KY?
