I like this look and would purchase one if you decide to go into any sort of production.

Be careful what you clean them with or you will end removing the paint and having red and white buttons.

It's a 2008 and I think it went in the first 18 months.

This hose went on my car when it was under waranty. I think they said the hose or maybe the clamps had been updated, I do remember them telling me what a pita it was to change.

Looking to Purchase 2008 Lambo Murci 8LA02699
yellomurci replied to GETITON's topic in Automobili Lamborghini
Seems from the pictures like it has Michelin tires on the front and Pirelli on the rear, might want to check on the front diff unless it is rear wheel drive conversion? -
We don't have those in England anymore.

I did it - RWD & straight pipes on my 640.

s You should be gaining to the rear wheels about what is lost through friction in it front diff and cv joints. -
When I ordered my Murci new I asked for a MT6 but was pushed (stupidly now into an egear), they even discounted the cost of the egear to zero. $10k at the time I think. I assume they were on the path to having no MT at that time and were pushing for the end. I do like my egear but now wish I had a MT for the clutch life, rarity and also the money they now command.

I had almost forgotten about the unkempt and huge hairy muffs of the 80's and 90's Thank you for reminding me that todays are much nicer.

I remember them from my youth in England. Seem to recollect them typically being either green, blue or yellow. Although quite good looking the engineering was very agricultural and I seem to remember that they had some major problems. Rear suspension and rust in the chassis outriggers are the two that come to mind. Although they use a 2 liter 6 engine they are very slow by todays standards. Although not a gt6 I also remember being in a spitfire (that looks like a gt6 without a roof and has a 4 cylinder engine) with my mother driving when she plowed into the back of my fathers Jaguar that she was following. In those days we would have my Mother driving and 3 of us kids, 2 in the front seat and one crammed behind the seats. Instant jail in todays society and a recipe for dead kids. Luckily not us as we were going quite slow, Good luck with your search and beware of 1 rust and 2 the lord of darkness, Lord Lucas electrics

Yes it may be a good product but its aesthetics suck, needs to be painted or some sort of covering.

Finding a price point for my patent and prototype.
yellomurci replied to IanMan's topic in Off Topic
Can't give you any numbers but can tell you that if you want to sell a patent without a sales track record you probably will not be very happy with the valuation. I understand that you don't want a royalty or license agreement but am afraid that is probably the way it will end up, the license will also give you the ability to negotiate certain things like min sales per year, patent defence and a host of other safe guards for you. Good luck with what ever you end up doing. -
I do like the large rear wing but also think this car with the small wing looks great.

I have no children but have been heard to say that I am glad my parents did. I don't really regret not having children and also did not make that choice to say no until I reached close to 50.

RSC Tuning TCU tune? Who has done it or knows about it ?
yellomurci replied to alpha6164's topic in Archived Content
I agree you don't need that fast bang gear change on the street, I was just following up on your comment about needing faster valves and higher hydraulic pressure, Lambo probably programed it the way it is to save mechanical stress on the car and also to save law suits from passengers with whip lash. I have messed around in the past with being in say 3rd gear at low revs and flooring the throttle and changing gear, it changes fast so it must be reading the throttle pedal position as you say. -

When in sport mode the fastest shifts are when the throttle pedal is pushed to the floor, it must be a software thing so if you could program this fast change to occur at any throttle position or in normal mode it would seem that you have made the gear changes faster? -
Just a heads up for other Murci owners

True but when or if they get out of college and get a paying job they will find that the "free education" was only free at the time but now must be paid for.

Don't know about heli but some years ago I was completing an application for life insurance and told them I smoked (fyi I gave up) = bad, rode motorcycles = bad and flew single engine planes = VERY bad

It sucks but its the nature of people, I was smeared all over the internet (rich a hole cant drive, too much money not enough brains etc) back in 09 when my car was totaled. No one ever seemed to report that I was not driving at the time and it was a mechanic as that would not have made losers feel better. Glad everyone is ok and it looks like the car can be repaired.

If that is it and I was on the list I think I would be asking for my deposit back.
