100% But SUV market is way bigger, just interesting to see where the price ceiling on it is

I think it is good and bad that they built it at all, although seeing the pictures it is not as good as anticipated but it certainly isn't bad and will be the best performer in the class. On paper it is great, what kills it is the pricing being on par with a huracan, I still think it will be a depreciation bomb at that level and unless it was drop dead gorgeous i just couldn't consider it knowing the price per year for the early years you would have to pay to own it if you didn't keep it forever. Especially as there will clearly be lots of better versions and options coming and so early adopters will get doubly screwed. Great that they are making money and being able to build really good cars and are now top quality that people want, i'm all for this and diversifying with great projects as long as the core is maintained. But it is also a bit sad that now anyone can own a Lamborghini, it think it really started with Huracan being so useable, it always was that whenever I met owners no matter of race, background, etc all seemed to have certain personality traits and something in common that brought you to the brand. You had to really want to own the car as it was a bit silly in anyones book. Ferrari people often aspired to own the brand whereas Lamborghini in general people owned because they wanted exactly what they had and liked the car. Now everyone from housewives to youtube kids are riding round in them as if I'm totally honest it kind of ruins the brand for me as I really don't want to be associated with the new generation of owners that i have nothing in common with and I'm not even sure like cars they just like flash stuff to put on social media. Also I notice all the Porsche owners that generally hate Lamborghini seem to like Urus which is a bit of a worry! I do hope that Lamborghini make some truly silly stuff like the Veneno at a price more people could afford and it would go a long way to countering the broad spectrum then now produce.

Either it’s bad pictures or it’s a pig, Also 2 rear seats is a silly idea for this sort of thing

Looks like a more agressive A6 Allroad When they depreciate a bit I’m in
  6. Use a suction cap to get them out. Had the same thing when using the sv hard on Italian tour, wheel expanded and bye, bye centre cap, gone when I got to the top of the moutain, Lambo replaced under warranty. Just put a dab of silicone on one edge of o ring then you won’t lose them again and easy to get off.
  7. Magneto rheological suspension is the adaptive one it can come on its own or with lift thrown inas a pack Lift can also come on its own without suspension Steering is called LDS lamborghini dynamic steering and is also a separate option. Personal preference I didn’t spec it as I didn’t like it on the test car but apparently it’s much better now
  8. You could but people get scared of any modification that leaves anything permanent and at present it cures the problem with nothing irreversible. I'm really happy with how it is now, i think that is all they have done with performante seats just recline them a bit so they are not so upright and hence more comfortable.
  9. Was probably another member off here keeping up old traditions! Wonder what his success ratio is must get some to bother
  10. The rails don't sit directly on each other even before, they only touch at the bolt points where there is already a welded spacer and so there is no more or less contact or strength with the new setup at an angle. You cant tell unless you get really low down to look at it
  11. It is basically just the bolts that hold the seats on the rails, you remove them and insert a big washer at the front and lesser ones going back about 10 mm does it and the few mm translates to a lot more recline at the rear with the angle, all you need then is to replace the bolts with longer ones to make sure they are held down. You could do it yourself if you were reasonably competent. Apparently it is very common in racing
  12. Just a little update on race seats I just did the simplest mod possible on mine, spacers at the front and longer bolts to the rails, net result is about 3.5” recline could have gone further but that worked for me. Amazing difference, way, way more comfortable and cost virtually nothing. It’s like being in a whole different car and I’m very happy as they were getting to me a bit before on longer trips. Great compromise to retain the proper seats but gain a bit more comfortable driving position. Race car team suggested it, its is what they do for tall drivers to get them in non adjustable seats if height is a problem. Anyway it’s a winner and I would highly recommend, very quick and easily reversible. I’m 7k miles in now, still loving it, special car that is more than the sum of its parts, speed and what it can do on paper, one of the few modern cars that still has a bit of magic to it that can’t be measured except in enjoyment and an unspoken bond you get with it after a bit that you don’t get with most new “perfect” cars. It’s like an aging friend that plays professional sport that is still top of his game but if from a different era and will retire in a couple of years, never to be replaced, likes drinking, eating, partying and a bit of misbehaviour now and again. Huracan is the perfect physical specimen athlete to be admired that eats clean doesn’t drink or really go out but turns out perfect performances week after week, you can’t fault & you know how reliable and good it is but despite being technically better it doesn’t give the same enjoyment and bond as the silly one!

As interesting as it might be if its expensive it has depreciation written all over it, people just wont see the value of it being nicer over a range rover, just look at the FF, there is just no middle market for these cars as they are not desirable and aspirational in the same way as a pure supercar, you either buy new if you can afford it or want a big discount.
  14. Every car does a test circuit of 20 something miles at the roads around the factory to make sure everything works and also they are driven hard to seal the piston rings apparently the high heat is required to do this. I asked Balboni in person what he thought the best way to run an engine in was on a new car he’s said test everything works such as brakes and be sure to get the engine warm and then you can use it as hard as you like. Personally I would put a few hundred miles on the brakes tyres and suspension before going crazy though even if the engine is fine
  15. Manual stays low rpm first 1000miles and then gradually build it up until full rev range at 1500 miles. I always follow the manuals on cars as I keep my cars a few years but most people don’t and I’ve never heard of an issue
  16. Both capristo and novitec sell plug in o2 simulators for the ecu to stop this. Would really annoy me to keep getting warning lights, one day it might be something that it actually needs to warn you about that you ignore.
  17. I’m not into watches but they are pretty much the only ones I think are cool, just a bit of art/jewellery though
  18. They used to be able to of nothing but it depends what the treaty between countries says UK one just changed that they can pursue you, i would suspect if it is US then you can just ignore it. if it was a hire car they will have your passport details though so it could potentially get flagged if you go back anytime soon, although i have only ever heard of this happening in Switzerland. I would assume a google search will probably tell you the answer to the question if no one here has any direct experience.
  19. Do you know Dwiggs? He has one of those I think
  20. IMO There is no way the race exhaust makes 50hp extra, once upon a time you could make big gains but the factory stuff is pretty good now and so gains are much more limited, more like half that. The real reason for gains on sv/aventador is just the removing the secondary cats in the muffler rather than the system layout. Unless the US version has seriously beefed up secondary’s, then it could be possible but the gain would be that it started off less Hp than say a euro car and then comes back in line with their exhaust gain.
  21. Any updates on this, also hotels?
  22. Interesting but probably not much over 200 in reality my sv was showing over 200 but Pbox gps said 186.5 you cannot imagine how disappointed I was. Still not cracked 200! Fast though
