  1. I'm interested in getting a new universal remote, mainly for my home theater, but open to ones that also control lighting, etc. I have basic remote now, that looks like a regular tv remote, but would like an easy to use touchscreen one. Can anyone recommend a touchscreen style one, or does anyone know of a quality iPhone/iPad app? Thanks
  2. I've always liked New Order, but Bernard and Johnny Marr should have stuck together as Electronic. RD - You gonna see Morrissey again next month?
  3. What type/style of floor is that? Love the color and grain.

MINNEAPOLIS — A man whose apparently violent arrest by a Minnesota police officer was caught on video has been charged with stalking and making terroristic threats. Thirty-year-old Eric Hightower was charged Thursday in St. Paul. The complaint says Hightower threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend and had assaulted her before. The jail would not accept a message for Hightower. The complaint says he admitted calling the woman and threatening that she'd get her "head blown off," but that he only meant to scare her. Hightower was arrested Tuesday. During the arrest, Officer Jesse Zilge sprayed Hightower with a chemical and kicked him. The arrest was videoed by a citizen and posted on YouTube. The department has launched an internal investigation and Zilge has been placed on leave.

  8. I went to Coachella, and thought it was a body double too, until someone said it was a hologram. Apparently beforehand, rumor was that Nate Dogg was going to be hologramed.
  9. That catalog back then was the shit!
  10. That's a painful way to get your foot in the door at the unemployment office.
  11. The woman commentator seems to have all the answers. She must have been there or is psychic...
  12. You can tell that something happened prior to when the video started. The camera guy has just zoomed in to the car vs. motorcycle because he probably saw some sort of altercation prior to what's on this video. Looks like the motorcycle guy was provoking the woman and she finally had enough.
  13. So tell us all what you know about this guy... Nothing? Figures
  14. Anyone going to Coachella this year? Several dance/electronic/ trance/ house bands playing.
  15. Even though scenarios happen like this all the time with women , I wonder if this one is fake...only because on an iPhone, the owner of the phone talks on the right in sms. So if this is Kevin's phone, why does it say JJ?
  16. Was the door to the dishwasher fully open when you originally left to let the steam out....or was it partially open? If partially open, maybe once the dishwasher cooled down, the door eased backed to closed. Kind of an expand/contract deal due to temp change. If it was fully open, maybe the ghost who used to play the piano you sold is playing tricks on you.

What is the story leading up to the incident on the video? So many of these "bad cop" videos rarely show or tell what the events were leading up to the incident caught on tape. The guy must have done something to cause 5+ cops to go after him. Sure, the diabetic may not have known what he was doing wrong, but cops can't approach every driver as a helpless diabetic. On the same note, they shouldn't approach every driver a a criminal either.
