Best looking Mclaren yet , 570 was a piece of shit reliability wise , as another member here stated, my friends car spent 2 months in the shop on and off , he gave it back. If quality control has been improve and bugs sorted out , should be a winner. I doubt I will ever buy one however

Yes , I have never owned own but I have numerous parteks below MSRP , some as much as 30% off . Have to be patient , like a car , the more of a hard on you have for a watch , the less likely you will be patient enough to get the right deal . None of them are collector pieces , so they will go down

Downforce . When mechanical grip is at the limit , downforce takes over . The faster you go, the more you sucked down , that is why slow speed corners always an issue with how downforce cars . Spectacular lap

No Patek nautilus is worth paying over MSRP. Did any of you check on Chrono 24 site ? With patience you could find one at a discount

I did sort of , the SLR used to be my DD in the summer time , no more , I got an AMG SUV , nobody follows me around anymore

A few years ago I took some cars to the track and my daughter was driving the SLR with her GF in the passenger seat . Some asshole was hanging out of the sunroof of a car taking pictures in the middle of the highway and screaming at them , he almost fell out and had to pulled back from his feet by another passenger , dumber than dumb . People never cease to amaze me

I can't go anywhere without being followed, harassed, having my pictures posted on the internet, being asked dumbass questions , etc .The car parazzi have become so annoying i can't give anyone the time of the day anymore , and that is shame for car lovers as i don't get any joy acting standoffish but enough is enough . I couldn't care less if anyone wants to take a picture of any of my cars when they are parked but unfortunately, you got attitude from the valet because of idiot car parazzis ruining it for everyone else.

Even more of a reason for him not to screw up . When i bought my SLR, i was invited my Mclaren to a factory visit and they took me to a track day at the top gear track. We did high speed runs and had to brake so hard we overheated the brakes on the SLR, big red sign came on the dash telling the driver to let the brakes cool . It is all common sense , it does like he panicked as he could have easily kept on the brakes and gone left

It looks like the top gear track , the runway is pretty short and one needs to brake very hard . Having said that , the driver is useless

I would never buy a car that would have a lien against it for any period of time, even is it is a month, when i paid for the car in cash . Doesn't matter who makes it, total bullshit, the manufacturers have become so arrogant ,they can hug their cars for what it is worth . We shall see how they handle the next recession.

Funny you mention this as a friend of mine returned his 570 to Mclaren after owning it for a month and he says he will never buy another Mclaren again.
