  1. Great to see you having fun! Not too often you get to see a Murcielago getting track time. She sounds good! As some guys pointed out, who really cares if the car is defined as a great track car as long as you are having fun. I hit the track in an F430 the other day and while I'm sure I wasn't even half way to the cars limits, I was smiling ear-to-ear. Mission accomplished. Looking forward to seeing more!
  2. And I like the color too. I don't get the hate on that choice...
  3. HELL YES! I love it! Futuristic & sexy, and probably a design that will look great over time. Probably the best looking car I've ever seen. I wish the greenhouse was a little shorter relative to the body. I do hope they put something bigger than a V8, and agree that KERS seems a bit pointless on a road car. And the point about it costing so much more than a 12C while sharing many parts is valid, buy P1/12C is way more significant than Reventon/LP640.
  4. Funny - that is the first thing that popped into my mind after "WTF!"
  5. The front I don't particularly care for. I'd rather just have a basic LP560. The back though...WTF! It looks like a cheap kit car! Yesterday was a sad day for Lamborghini Do they not do any sort of customer validation of designs before signing off on them?
  6. I think the nose is too slanted there to be honest. The rendering is great though! And I am surprised how much I like the F430 headlights on an Aventador!
  7. The stock exhaust sounds so bad in that first video Very un-inspiring.
  8. Thing that threw me the most was how unenthusiastic the guy who dropped his arms for the race was! It was almost like he was in slow motion!
  9. I think the front looks great, and like the side profile a lot too. Its pretty and a little edgy from the front, but not overly stimulating but it isn't supposed to be an over-the-top crazy hypercar style-wise, like the Aventador. For the type crowd they're going for I think it looks great. The back though..... I'll hold my final judgements on that until I have more time. First impression I don't like it, but do appreciate that they didn't just leave it flat and boring like a lot of their other rears.
  10. Congratulations! You just purchased THE PERFECT CAR - awesome color combo and way to go on the manual!
  11. Wow! I'm just under 6'3" and found the Murcielago cramped. I could drive it, but had to tuck my ass under so that I had really bad/uncomfortable posture.
  12. I was fortune enough to sit in the passenger seat of a LP-550 while he was driving once. Very, very cool experience and an awesome guy.
  13. I actually did happen to see that Ultimate Factories with the Mulsanne. Very, very cool. I watched the Ultimate Factories Ferrari episode too and was extremely surprised and impressed to see that they even cast their own engine blocks. Wasn't expecting that!
  14. I came across this today and thought it was extremely good! They go into for more excellent technical detail on the car that I've never seen any other show do. I already had a lot of respect for the Veyron (obviously), but this took it to the next level. Get your geek on! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6cyk9mQWM4 kinda long at 40 minutes, but a really good program
  15. This doesn't really answer any of your questions but... I've driven a handful of G's and was pretty cramped in all of them (I'm almost 6'3"), but the R8 had plenty of room and was extremely comfortable inside. I have always though the R8 was a really good looking car - far better in person than in pictures. I've never seen one parked next to another exotic though. Didn't get to drive an R8 yet though.
  16. Wow. Jaw-on-the-floor wow. That color is so well matches to the lines of the Aventador.
  17. Black one with the wheels = White one with the body kit =
  18. Not sure which metal part you are talking about. Can it just be welded or is it not repairable? Post a pic.
  19. Didn't know that donnie - thanks. By the way, if you own the cars in your signature image, damn nice collection my friend!
  20. Looks really nice on the car! Looks like you'd be left with no headroom. I pretty much was looking right at the top of the windshield frame in the LP640 roadster I drove with the top half of my head sticking above it in the air stream. I'm hunched down as low as I could get in this pic, lol: I love the Murcie roadsters, but I could never buy one for this reason.
  21. Is it just me or do a lot of those looked photoshopped? Take that 18 mile long grid thing. Zoom in and it is perfectly straight even over rough terrain. The satelite would have to be perfectly on top to show it straight otherwise you would see if bend going up/down the steep slope. And that is assuming that the lines were that perfect to begin with. And the second section they talk about, those squares really look added in. They are so much clearer than everything else around them. The google watermark is different over the areas in question too.
  22. I love the wheel design and the LOVE the color combo. I think that tire is too low profile for my liking, but other than that it's perfect. Good work!
  23. Congrats on that beautiful car! That color is by far my favorite color in the G.
