  1. Very nice. Is there any information on the breakdown of the Huracan sales?
  2. Which track(s) are you planning on attending?
  3. Agree. I plan on getting the car serviced the week prior. Part of the servicing plan will be brake fluid upgrade to Lambo racing specs.
  4. I signed up for One Lap of America next year. Will be driving my Performante. I have a couple of questions for the guys who track the perf. First, can you go up in tire size for the fronts? The OEM front tire seems small at 245 / 30 / 20. Can you go up in size both front and back and still keep same ratio without screwing up traction control. Second, I may need to perform a brake pad change during the week. Does anybody run something other than OEM pads? https://www.onelapofamerica.com/currentEvent/EntrantsList.do?eventId=39
  5. Had the Fabspeed exhaust on my base H. It was great. How is this exhausted different than the valved exhaust that I purchased previously?
  6. When i was 22, I drove an '81 Dodge Omni without air conditioning in Houston, TX. Tranny went out and converted it to a manual with junk yard parts. Door handle kept breaking, so ended up just crawling through the hatchback. Ignition switch went out so ended up hot wiring to a $2 push button (I was ahead of my time). Ended up meeting a girl while driving that car. We have been married 26 years.
  7. I took delivery of my Huracan around July 6th of 2016. At that time, it was a MY2017. Currently awaiting delivery of P July this year. Was told it was a MY 18, but doesn't make sense from my last experience.
  8. Anybody know what the reveal at Geneva will be?
  9. I consistently have replace my carbon ceramic brake pads after one track day in my GTR. About to switch back to steel rotors since my track day expenses for front pads alone are $900. I always attributed the pad wear to not enough cooling (CCBs seem to be hotter), and the weight of the GTR. Maybe it is more of an issue with cooling if the Perf also goes through pads quickly.
  10. I have a Performante scheduled to be delivered in July. Reading articles like this makes me a little antsy for July to come! Thx for sharing.
  11. Anybody know the number of LP570-4 Superleggeras produced?
  12. Red sports cars are awesome. To me that is a perfect spec!

I have read through these posts for the first time. I see nothing wrong with wheels posts. They do not seem excessively long, and he is respectful. He has a different viewpoint than a lot of the other posters here. So be it. Debate is a good thing. What I see that should stop is the snarky posts about wheels that contribute nothing to the discussion (aka tinfoil)
  14. ^^^ Very cool. My wife just got her order done also. I was not there, and I told her to option however she wanted. She chose that clear coat rhino color, the lightweight wheels in satin black, towing package (for the extra trans cooler), upgraded leather package in black.
  15. Supposedly I am at the top of the list for an allocation from the dodge dealer I have purchased from before. My wife loves her JGC SRT, and actually came to me about getting her the Trackhawk. I wish Jeep would give better color choices. They have crazy colors for the Wrangler, but not so much for the Trackhawk. A competition blue Trachhawk would look awesome! Currently she is leaning towards redline2.
  16. Do the dealers know they have an allocation yet?
  17. I currently own a GTR, Gen V Viper, and H. I like the line-up since they are completely different cars. A little different fun for your fancy. It seems that you already have an itch to try a GTR; I would get one. Especially if you already have american muscle in your line-up. I understand why people do not like the GTR. They are easy to drive fast (maybe too easy) with all the nannies to help you out. If you think it is boring, just take traction control off. My son and I were at our local track this past weekend and he took somebody for a ride-along in it. The passengers comment after getting out was that he did not know you could drift the GTR. It is all a matter of how much you want to hang it out there. If you do not like it, get rid of it. At least you would have scratched your itch.
  18. I own a heavily modded GT-R. Tim Bailey is a great tuner and most likely has the tune to protect the tranny. The current power levels are what you stop at without engine and transmission rebuild. I would look at the bell housing. These tend to get some failures around the mid 30k mile mark. However, I am not sure how you check to see if it is going bad. My bell housing failed, but I was at 850 awhp / 750 wtq at the time. http://www.gtrlife.com/forums/topic/127633...enough-and-why/
  19. Biased life long Falcons fan here. This year's team feels different than any other year I have been a fan. They believe in each other. Rise Up Dirty Birds!
  20. Does anybody have an idea of what the range is for a fully charged battery and what it drops to after one launch? What is the range of the car strictly driving in insanity mode? ( I think that is the term).

  22. Thanks for the information. Will check some of the drives out!
